Likes

The people I met, the faculty and the Labs that are there.
The teachers are very polite and always there to help.
The library has so many books, you can get books for free.

Dislikes

The uniform is kind of a disadvantage and task to watch.
There are not many holidays according to the calendar.
Recurring exams after each passing month.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum is great. we are getting exposure to many things and our analytical skills have been improved here. Teachers teach very well and relevant to the subject that are there ij the first year of college.

Class Size: 58Course Fees: INR 99000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first sem was 49,500. After that you have to pay 5500 as an Examination form fee for each sem. It overall comes around 1,10,000 for a year which is pretty reasonable looking at the things we have been taught

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty happening. you can enroll yourself for different clubs according to your preference. sports activities are also being conducted. the college campus has tennis court, indoor badminton court, basketball court etc.

Hostel Facilities

We have rented a pg oustide college whose rent is 10k per month. The quality of food is not that good. other than that, everything is just fine, you get free wifi, laundry services and other things which are given in pg.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The Admission process was pretty easy. One has to apply through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) and also there are 15 percent seats reserved for lateral entry. One can apply through the college website.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
