Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Curriculum of this education system just sucks the growth of the students. Some teachers are not so entertaining and engaging with students, they just try to control and scolds them. Teachers should be just like empowering the growth of the students. Their should be more engaging staff with encouraging plus motivating personality .

Fees and Financial Aid

The total college for an Open category students is upto 1,30,000 per year and for OBC category students it is upto 70000 per year and only 2000 per year for sc/st students. Scholarship amount received by OBC category students is upto ?400-500 only.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus of our college is upto 175 acres being constructed on hill. Their is good accessibility of books in library including books out of syllabus. Their is everytime an issue regarding sports equipment availability in the campus. The staff didn't keep it or won't give it. Students have to bring it on their own. Annual programmes too happens in our campus in quite large amount , like Shivjayanti is celebrated lije a large event . Extracurricular activities are too happens but at quite low rates. Facilities are quite disappointing when it comes to classrooms,as their are no good projectors nor the equipment are good in the laboratories.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel needs some maintenance regarding the colour and switch boxes should be changed as their is risk if shock while working. Overall it is quite comfortable to live in the hostel as we have residential campus so most of the goods required are obtained in the campus itself. Mess is the only one necessary factors students not like food, due to their food taste issues and cleanliness issues.

Admission

After competitive examination, result was quite low and the eligibility criteria for good colleges were too high so as to get admission in that was crucial process. In second cap round I got my current studying institute ,i.e,Sinhgad Institute of technology, Lonavala and also except my expecting branch was not get due to low percentile in competitive examination, Admission process was quite tuff and time consuming. You have to run taking papers from one place to another. Many teachers does not entertain people who are need as they had to do their job they won't.This particularly should be changed Reservation candidates would definitely has low fees due around 2000 per year only this is the reason it should be changed too.

Other Applied Colleges

Sinhgad Institute of technology, Lonavala | Other

Due to low cgpa in competitive examination

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is 8/10 . For the first year , we're focussing on science and mechanics and will shift our focus to computer science around the second year . The curriculum prepares us well for real life working conditions . Exams occur every 2 months which is enough time to prepare for it
