Entrance Preview

I had taken an entrance exam called the ASSO CET and had scored 165 I had to choose this college as an option due to my low score as I had actually opted for MBBS as my professional degree but was unable to get admission the admission process an interview part was quite well organised.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In this college the actual course structure and the curriculum was perfect with its exact focus on research and was a very good and knowledgeable experience do you to the amazing staff and good patient flow which now a days has reduced a lot but giving my time it was amazing.

Internships Opportunities

Yes this college provides internship on paper you do get a stipend but in hand you actually do not receive any stipend but it's still a very good experience to learn as the flow of patients was amazing during my time.

Placement Experience

1.5

There are no such Placements from the college but after you doing a dental degree who needs a job the best thing you can do is your own business getting a job nowadays is definitely difficult but it all depends on where you live and where you want to workand how the opportunities are there.

College Events

3.5

A whole cultural week is celebrated in this college along with other festivals and some other big days like the reunions or the annual day events are always on a very large level and it was always lovely to participate in them every student would participate making it so remembered.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is around 2.15 lakhs per annum for four years excluding a one year internship program in which you do not have to pay anything but you do not even get a stipend but it's pretty the same with all the other Institute of so it's kind of okay as long as you're getting to work on patients.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can opt for education loans from other banks or private sector which give loans to students for education purposes and this institute being a government recognised institute there won't be many hassles in getting a loan.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is amazing because this is one of the best campuses of Pune the gender ratio is almost equal and you would find great diversity because of people coming from different parts of the world for courses which are offered here through out the campus there are a lot of extracurricular activities you can participate in the labs are goodthere is great competition which is healthy for studies and many other great facilities and a great Tolerance.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facilities are okay and the food is supplied by tiffin boxes from private people for two times a day i.e lunch and dinner and it depends on the type of lunchbox you opt for that you pay accordingly there are a lot of options you can even opt to sta

Alumni/Alumna

All the students an alumni are extremely helpful and everybody would definitely come to help be it anyone.

Exam Structure

There were four internal exams and one final exam for the yearwhich was conducted by MUHS University Nasik we had frequent clinical duties which would leave us tired but after all it was part of the curriculum each internal exams would add up to 2.5% mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dentistry is a practical oriented feild that's what influenced me the most. Once your practical skills are well developed you can earn in lakhs. The course so far as provided me with equal opportunities to expose myself to clinical and research work. The internal exams are conducted twice a year with a gap of 2 months and they also conduct a prelim exam 2 months before the main university exam. The course should focus a little bit on the mental health of the students that's the only improvement I would suggest. The exam frequency is good and the difficulty level is high which is understandable because you are preparing to be a doctor.
