Dislikes

Canteen food is sometimes too awful they don't allow outside food.
Forcing to pay the fee by bringing reasons of marks.
Making us to stand outside gate for 2hrs even for 1min late

Course Curriculum Overview

Subject courses are too AVERAGE. They cover basic to advanced level. Course structure was appropriate but it was provided by JNTUGV. teaching should be done by focusing more on understanding level of students rather than being strict. Exam difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 41600 per year

Placement Experience

People from 4-1 semester are allowed to participate in campus placements. Since recession is going on only few companies like Accenture and tech Mahindra came to college. Least was 3lpa highest is 11lpa only for one girl 50-60% got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is one of the thing I hate most. Even though we are JVD students where government has to pay our college fee, they will ask us to pay prior itself by saying we will reduce marks to 0 and takes fine if we delayed.

Campus Life

Clubs and events are a bit okay. Events completely depends on event planners and presidents of students. They regularly try to conduct events and sports by encouraging us to participate. One of my friend went to national level.

Admission

Cut off changes frequently based on caste reservations and seats availability. Admission process was quite fast so no bad opinion regarding it. Only thing I suffered is lack of transport to college. Auto guy took 100/- just for 1km.

Good college with proper management

Placement Experience:

The placments are not good for this collges because it doesnt have any better managment for placments. from 7th semester majot placments starts. the companies visited are HCL,TCS, infosys,flipkart and so on. The highest pachage i heared is 5 lakhs and lowest is 2.5 LPA the percentage of students are getting placed is less due to lack of skills.My plan is to secure job from good company.

In the recent passed out batch i.e., 2019-2033 batch, we got nearly 1300 placements in our college for all branches. Our Dean sir provides us with so many interships and job offers from 2-2 onwards. Not only interships and jobs, we are also provided with so many courses in emerging technologies like AI, ML, cloud computing, data analytics, and data science. Not only for computer-aided branches but also for core branches we are getting so many placements. We got 1800 offers for the recently passed out batch.

In the fifth semester, students are selected for campus placements. Companies are HCL, TVS, TCL, Microsoft company etc. I visited the HCL company. HCL company offered me 7 years agreement. Eighty per cent is compulsory to get placement at campus selection.

College life is most memorable

Placement Experience:

You can't expect any on-campus jobs here, the placement levels are very low. Only start-ups and local companies visit here however you can try different off-campus jobs. The highest off-campus package is 12 LPA and here the percentage of placements is too low as it is a tier 3 college. So I recommend if you choose your career or expect a high package, then this will be not for you.

I chose vignan's institute of engineering for women (VIEW), Visakhapatnam after copmaing multiple college on parameters such as Safty, faculty support, affordability, infrastructure, academic reputation. colleges i applied there are more of normal college including co-ed college and womens college. in the first 2 round of seat allocation i didn't recevied any seat. due to high cut-off rate and some other cause. it is safe and near to my home town so i chose that college....Read More
