Entrance Preview

Actuaaly I just took JEE MAINS for a huge hard work. In corresponds entrance i just give my best and if i get it then chose engineering in Electrical.

Course Curriculum Overview

Really at the time of modernise Electrical Engineering have a great work of field with latest technology,for higher education i.e in research have a great field with extreme knowledge. Only one way you just achieve your goal i.e hard work and positive thinking. For a compitative way you have to always focous on good coachng center not only bot also a good faculty for fast and easy success.

Internships Opportunities

Its just amazing in my internship over all experience. I just achive a full of knowledge with how to manage a industery with full eficient way. Basically steel and power sector comes for internship programme such as Reliance Power,TATA steel,Jindal Power & Steel etc and the stipend was Approx RS 2500 to 5000.

Placement Experience

Placement was outstanding i.e recruitment always 100% and company always have a best package with top compnies in india. Not only future bright but also respective company focous for higher education.

College Events

I have still the function is remember i.e our Annual function which is celebrate with a lots of love and enjoy. Most important thing I am be the champion of Literacy section in the final year. Most of honourable person was invited for chief guest to success this grand festival.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes Scholarship was provided to every genious student with SC,ST student for financial help such as POST matric Scholarship,North south foundation,PRERANA etc.

Campus Life

Campus life is always safe and save. Gender ratio approx 10:7, always our administrative focous on Extracurricular activities such as debate,essay,cricket,football etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was superb and quality of living are outstanding. Hostel superitendent always focous towards health of student such as gym provided with free of cost with better food quality is very good. Always our principal check the quality of food and drinking

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting.
