Course Curriculum Overview

I studied CEC in intermediate after intermediate public examinations, I had applied for this Bcom (computer applications) course as I interested in commerce so that I choose this course rather than BA course

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 4400 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee:1000 yearly it will be decreases by 100 . The complete cost of my education for 3 of college is 6000 and hostel fee per year 40000 including all. Epass scholarship will be provided as 5000 per year

Campus Life

All the books and journals are available in the library we can take books for studying to home by using library card. Computer system are available for the practice of Excel and coding . Sports will be conducted by the campus in ever year in the month of February.

Admission

Eligibility of course: Intermediate, application form founds in dost website , application fee:350, reservation benefits are availed,sem exm will be conducted for every six months college admits that students according to their intermediate marks.

so for campus placements all the students are not elgible below are the points * you should not have any backlog after the 3rd semister * you should have 75% attendence * you need to opt for CRT taning by paying 5k( refunded after the traning) and not the packeges offered in clg are around 2lpa - 3lpa (max) they will tell you they will get more but dont belive in them the good companies visite are (PWC, EA) but only take 2-5 students not more than that remaing are low companies which offers very less packege and not good relivent posts so most of the stoudents do not get placed only few get placed around only 10% of studend get selcted for CRT out of which 50%get placement so the placement comes to 5% whith no good packege ther will only 3 or 5 geting good packege after the clg

Placement Experience:

I am currently in second year fourth sem, so I don't know about the placements but from what I heard the placements starts from third year. Since secunderabad branch is new so no placements have been made yet. But I did see some errors in the list of students who got placements In other Branch. There was a girl who got placed in 3 different companies. I don't how it works but whatever. The average placements is around 2.5 lpa as usual for degree students. From what I heard the ACCA students can get upto 12 lpa. My plans after getting degree is to complete my CA course or start a business any of the two.

I choose this course because iam very much interested in the business and management this course gives us good insight into the commerce. B.com is a three year course with a total number of 6 semesters and 2 semesters every year.the faculty is very good and they use review-based teaching methods for the students. The faculty-student ratio is 2:60 which is very good. Every semesters we have 2 internal exams which are very easy to pass.

Our college is good about discipline

Remarks:

The work load can be sometimes very hectic but being in Chandigarh everything is very accessible at every hr. Food through swiggy, Zomato is very easily accessed and even a lot is open at the night. So the hostel life is unmatched to any other place.
