Course Curriculum Overview
This course has variety of scopes in pharmaceutical industry so I choose this course. The course is very vast and difficult the course include pharmacology pharmacognosy pharmaceutics medicinal chemistry etc. There 15 practicals in each subject in a semester it makes us ready for industry. The teacher gives emphasis on theory they neglect the practical classes which is not good. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the BPUT.
Placement Experience
The students after 7th semester are eligible for the campus selection. Cipla, Sun Pharma Dr. Ready visit our college. Highest package offered was 3.8 lakhs per annum and lowest package offered was 1.7 lakhs per annum. 25 students selected in the campus selection. After getting the degree I want to do M.pharm.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total tution fees is 85000 per year. It includes all charges. There are state scholarship like e-medhabruti which gives 20k per the course. The national scholarship like Post matric scholarship which gives 40k per course. If your rank is under 200 in ojee then you are qualified in TFW scheme then you have to pay only 25thousand per year
Campus Life
The library is good more than 10 thousand books related to pharmacy available. The annual function celebrated in the month of March and annual sports conducted in the month of January. There are other festivals like pharmacy day, Ganesh chaturthi saraswati puja, women's day, Blood donation camp,etc. celebrated in the campus. There are cricket ground a volleyball court and a badminton court present. There are student clubs like TRCA and AOBPSA.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is 4 seated with attached bathroom. There are two hostel one boys hostel outside the campus and a girls hostel inside the campus. Wifi available in the girls hostel. Food quality is average. You have to register in the ojee site in the process of admission to take admission in hostel.
Admission
You have to passout from +2 with PCM/PCMB. You can find out the application in the ojee site. The ojee conduct the admission process. The admission process is by the ojee rank/jee main rank/ Neet rank. You can find the application in the Ojee site after the completion of ojee exam. The ojee exam conduct in the month of June every year in online mode.
