Specific aspects:- the practial application of geological concepts in fieldwork and research. In depth study of geological formations, mineralogy, and environmental geology. Preparation: The curriculum effectively prepares students for careers in geology, providing hands on expreience and theoretical knowledge. it equips students with the skills needed for further academic. Areas for improvement incorporating more industry relevant projects or internships to enhance practical skills. introducing interisciplinary courses to broaden the scope of geological studies. Exam:- the difficulty level is challenging but aligns with the depth of knowledge expected in geology.

Internships Opportunities

In our courses there is not valuable internship opportunities available but for etc, computer sci. and other financial courses got internship. But there some TATA company internship are availabe and occur, even now a internship is happen in 2 apr 2024 to 9 apr 2024. I think in future our general courses also got some internships.

Placement Experience

there is no specific placement for our course in my situation after completing my course i wil trying to get a good college like iit and big university or i can doing my msc in same college but it was not valuable to doing msc in khallikote college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee:- in naturally i provied you donot go anywhere because you can handel it yourself, but if you sirious for your future then you can buy online course, in today's environment geokhan is trending. Now the course fees is 5k it varies form time and jam exam. cost of education:- the whole total course of eduction in geology courses is 3800per annum including libary card, sports etc. Scholarships:- in our odisha you availed a lot of scholarships because of naveen sarkar. some scholarship name is state scholarship or aka post metric scholarship, e-medhaburti scholarship, now nua-o scholarship.. campus employment:- In today there is no specific details on campus employment opportunities related to geology courses.

Campus Life

Annual and technical festivals:- our college hosts various festivals throughtout the year, annual cultural fest "srijan" in february, showcasing talents in music dance and arts. technical fest like "techxplore" in september. Library resources:- It provides a diverse range of books and journals and reserch materials. picking a book in llibaray room varies from day by day which means in monday and tuesday only 1st yr students are take his/her books. classroom facilities:- clssroom are ok in our courses . in other courses such as botany they have white board and projecter. std. social groups and clubs:- a big room name as alumini room is present where events are happen a boys common room present in ground floor where we can play chess carrom and many more.

Admission

Eligibility of the cource:- 1)Student are eligible for placement from the 3rd yr and internships from the 2nd yr. 2)The eligibility criteria for certain courses require a minimum of 60% in specific subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, geology etc. Application process:- 1)Application forms can be found online on the SAMS offical website. 2)The application process is merti-based with no entrance exam for admission. 3)The cutoff for some courses is as high as 85% and above in the higher secondary level. Reservation Benefits:- Reservations are provided for sc, st, and obc. Examination details 1)the entrance exam, if applicable is conducted by the state government and is merit based. 2)the exam is for 100marks for each respective subject, with teh merit list based on entrance marks and academic performance. Areas for imporvement:- Some students express dissatisfaction with the placement system, suggesting room for enchancement.
