It is purely artistic and full of workmanship everywhere.

The course i"ve chosen is full of practical knowledge and a great amount of field work. Architecture is a constant balance of hardwork and creativity. My college nurtures a persons creativity and inspires us to work. The faculty is great and very supportive. The college encourages students to initiate trips and a lot of workshops are held for hands on experiences.

The college does not provide internships but thanks to our hierarchical status the students of Apeejay have always found help in the feild whenever needed. Also it is a cycle of the seniors helping the juniors in the internship processes.

The course is as such that the college cannot provide us with placements that is up to ourselves. It is a field of making yourself. Spoon feeding is not a part of our culture here in architecture. We start fending for our goals and success as soon as we start our work as a student.

Our college being a one-course college does not have a multicultural of many courses and so not many fests. The college does have a Parichay session for the first years and functions like Dandiya Nights and year-round celebrations of Gandhi Jayanti, Teachers Day and Independence Day etc. One of the major events of the year is the 3 day Sports Meet that is organized solely by the students.

The course is a high maintenance one. The fee structure is more or less like other courses but the stationary fee is what makes it high cost. The yearly fees are 1,19,823 as of right now.

The college provides scholarships to the students in need and a bunch of awards to students for good all-around performances.

I live in the hostel facility of the college and it is great. They have three types of accommodations single,double and tripple seater with common washrooms for the corridor at two places. Although the rules are a bit strict the food is good in the mess.

The alumni are a constant help to the students as they help in providing them with internships and all. A lot of alumni join the college for teaching as well. The college as such does not provide a platform for the interaction of students with the alumni but the current seniors who knew them to pass on the news to junior along the way so it is a chain of juniors following their seniors.

There are two types of faculty in the college. One is the people who come regularly that is the permanent faculty and the second are visiting faculty who come only once or twice a week to take their respective classes. Each studio subject has two regular faculty as well as a visiting faculty who is a master of the subject. All the faculty is very well read and inspire students. Also having three people to teach you one class helps explore every aspect of the subject. Most of the classes are interactive sessions and the subjects are taught in very practical ways.
