Colourful Campus filled with arts and graffiti made on walls by the student.
Bus stop infront of the campus which makes it very accessible.
Disciplined faculty and staff members making sure that everyone attends class.

Dislikes

Campus is filled with grass and plants everywhere
Infrastructure is outdated and fragile and old
Toilets are not well maintained and most of the things are broken

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is pretty basic. This college follows the curriculum which is present in all the other government colleges. B com is a practical course, so the curriculum prepares you for real life problem solving. And it gives you a basic knowledge and understanding about commerce which will help you in pursuing further education or studies.

Class Size: 320Course Fees: INR 1100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is outstanding. This college is very affordable and it doesn't get any lower than this. For boys it's around 1100-900 per year. First year's course fee is 1100 and the remaining two is a little less. Scholarship is also available for students, and students from each category can avail it and benefit upto 10,000 per year, for three years.

Campus Life

Campus life is Okayish. This college hosts many functions and celebrates every festival. Campus is not that big, compared to any university. There are various clubs which you can take part in, and each clubs hosts functions and competition regularly.

Admission

Admission is based on your 12th percentage. We need to apply on SAMS which is the governing body of all the government colleges in Odisha. Cuttoff of this college is comparatively high as it is the cheapest government college with good faculties.

My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

It's a heaven !!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course bcom because I want to be a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). I think this is the best course I can opt for. All faculty members are good, calm and friendly so that students can communicate with them frankly but still we respect our faculty members ,teachers and head of our department. Moreover, faculty members are changing each semester wise. So till now everyone's teaching methods are well and good. Our semesters are conducted twice in a year and in between that internal exams are conducted for students practice. As from my point of view none of the exams could be difficult to pass, because if you study properly you will perform well in exams , if you didn't study then you will not perform well, as simple.

My goal and i would like to work as a cost accountant..so for this purpose i have choosen this course for study because without degree and knowledge in commerce i have not achieve my goal. In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250. Our faculty is well educated and completed all the qualification required to became a professor in college and also awarded from our President of india.. Teaching style, method is very much easy and clear. Every students can easily understand the overall study course. Thr term exam is conducted in 3 month and overall 2 exam is conducted in a semister..1st term exam is 20mark and it is very easy to score the mark but 2nd or final semester exam is 80mark and it is little difficult to score more marks as compared to 1st term exam..

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.
