Course Curriculum Overview

I choose that the course of electronics and communication engineering.It seems to be good.Specifically the laboratories are nice.The professors of our course is making their own job too perfectly .Also providing better input from them to get the better outcome.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 68000 per year

Placement Experience

There is a little drawback of placement this year.The companies are coming frequently but the placements are not getting this year. The major role is students.The management need to take better companies to recruit the skillful students.

Fees and Financial Aid

For us it is too good according to the fee structure.The fee structure for me is 68000 for the tution fee and 35000 for hostel. For scholarship students the fee structure is healthy.There is Little drawback in the placement.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is not too good, whereas the coconut trees makes the pleasant climate and the weather is also good.The management should be focus on the infrastructure. The playgrounds are present for every game.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room are good.They should also maintain the neatness each and every day. I am paying 35000 to the hostel fee.But the infrastructure of hostel washrooms are not good.The management need to make an eye on this.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

There are two types of admission process, one is management quota and another one is government quota.I'm from Andhra Pradesh so we should make sure to enter through management quota.They confirmed the students fee by using cut off marks.

Time and Future

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

Life At KCT

Placement Experience:

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.
