In mining field there are many more opportunities for mining engineer and the course study help mostly in competitive exam. The student of this college do more practical for easy understanding through the guidance of teachers which prepare the student for real world work. The teachers must prepare a subject note and upload in college website which more helpful for students. There are 4 internal and 2 semester held per year and the difficulty level of the questions is moderate.

This institute sent the students to different companies such as OMC ,MCL ,JSPL etc for internship and the students got 10000 RS per year as stipend. The students visit the company and study about the machines and do many tasks

After 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placement. There are numbers of companies visited to the college such as Tata, vedanta ,Adani ,Imfa ,Jspl, Jenus etc through which 100 students are got placed. Highest package offered by vedanta is 1600000 and average package is 350000. 40-50 % of final year students got placed every year. After getting the degree I want to do M tech in mining engineering.

This institute run under the odisha government so the tuition fees is increase according to the government but the teachers of this college take tuition of the student in daily basis. The complete cost of this course is 27500 RS per year. Post matric scholarship - 20000 for OBC and general students and 40000 for st and sc students. The 40 - 50 % of the final year students get placement every year.

The students celebrate Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, Annual function, Branch fest, Republic day, Independence day every year. There are every types of book such as branch subject book, philosophy book, Technical books, Current affairs books etc are available. There is one smart LED board present in every classroom . Sports such as Running, Long jump ,High jump, Shot foot, javelin etc are held every year. The students of this college join many club such as dance club, Singing club, Robotics club etc for increasing their knowledge in that specific field.

In hostel room only 3 students are accommodated in one room,for every student one study table and one rack is provided by the college. The meal quality is moderate and different food is give to students in different day. There are only two step is required to complete registration process of hostel that is hostel admission form fill up and payment.The hostel fees is 47500 RS per year.

Eligibility of the course is must be a 12th pass in science stream and must qualify the joint entrance examination. The application form, application date, application fees are available in college website. There are no reservation benefit at the time of admission. There are 4 internal and 2 semester held in a year and there are no overlap between college exam and government exam. The payment method must improve for easy admission .
