In mining field there are more opportunities for mining engineer and study of this course help in government exam also. In this institute the student do more practical for easy understanding which helps the student in real world work. Teacher may prepare a note for students which helps the student a lot. The questions of the exam is moderate and there are 4 internal and 2 semester happen in a year .

Fees and Financial Aid

This institute is run under odisha government so the tuition fees is increase according to the odisha government and the teachers take tuition of the students in daily basis. The complete cost of education is 27500 RS per year . Post matric scholarship - 20000 rs for OBC and general students and 40000 rs for st and sc students. The 50-60 % of the final year students get placement per year .

Campus Life

The students celebrate Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, Republic day , independence day, branch fest and annual function every year. There are various types of books such as every subject books , philosophy books, invention books etc. There are a smart LED board for presentation. Sports such as Running, long jump, high jump, cricket ,shot foot etc held every year . Most of the students join club such as dance club , singing club , robotics club etc for the improvement of knowledge on that field.

Admission

Eligibility of course is 4 years. It is available in the college website. Scholarship are provided to different students according to their eligibility criteria. There is no overlap between our semester exam and other government exam. Payment process may improve to easy admission process.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements .
