Course Curriculum Overview

I love electrical engineering branch and then I got this college bcoz of my jee rank. You have to work hard to achieve your goal college can't help you. Few teachers have to be professional in their field of teaching . Course Curriculum contains all the required subjects and topics. Faculty are very supported towards students.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 27430 per year

Placement Experience

After the completion of 6th sem you are eligible to sit in college campus placement. Companies like imfa,vedanta,rungta,tatapower and adani are come Average package will be approx 500000 per annum And every year almost 60-70% students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is moderate or average as it is a government certified college. Course fee is :-27430. If you want to get admission in hostel you have to pay extra 39400 approx. You can apply post matric scholarship, labour card scholarship etc

Campus Life

There is a annual fest called utkarsh held every year in the month of March or April. Branch fest like vidyutam of electrical engineering branch and mxplore of mechanical engineering branch etc. There is a dance club and robotics club also there

Admission

Admission process is good.for this oppertunity I will appear joint entrance examination.Now I'm study with the help of electrical engineering in the government college of engineering keonjhar.in our college Electrical branch is a very good branch .

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting. No I didn't got rejection from other colleges Eligibility 65% in previous exam, Jee or ojee exams are accepted Jee is most preferred Cutoff of jee is 60 percentile for CSE branch .
