Course Curriculum Overview

Specific aspects of the curriculum are labs and others. I have prepared for real world application. Areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods are labs and machines for mining engineering.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 27430 per year

Internships Opportunities

Names of the companies are MCL,NTPC etc and stipend are approximately 15,000. There are minor project at eight semester . Student are gone to many mining places to do the minor project etc .They also went for study tour.

Placement Experience

At seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are: MCL, NTPC,OMC,vedant,JSW etc Highest package is approximately 5 lacs. Minimum percentage of 10 and 12th is 60%. Nothing.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee increase policy gradually. The complete cost of your education including tuition , services fees and others compulsory charges is high as compared to other government colleges. Scholarship are Kalia scholarship,post matric, e- medhabruti etc.

Campus Life

Names of the annual and technical fests along with the monthly they are typically are utkarsh, mxexplore etc. The facilities and technology provision with the classroom is worst. Recently the annual sports is conducted by the college.

Admission

Appeared JEE(main) after 12th. Application form,fees,and dates were found in college website. There is reservation for ST ,SC,OBC and Gen. Semester is conducted in every six month.Internal exam is also conducted after one month.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting.
