Course Curriculum Overview

My childhood aim was to become a mechanical engineer. And as this college was near my location and it was easy to stay here, that's why I chose this college. The faculties of this college are so good in behavior and intelligence. They treat us well. And teaches us in the best way they could do.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 42220 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for the students is 42220/- out of which 29220 was course fees. It was only for the first year. From the second year, the total readmission fee was 27430/-, out of which 15000/- was tution fees. And this continues till the final year. The complete cost is 42220/- for the first year and then 27430/- for the rest of 3 years.

Campus Life

There is a cultural fest named Utkarsh which we celebrate around March every year. There are lots of technical fests we celebrate like for the mechanical branch, a technical fest named mXpolre which we celebrate around February to March every year. Every classroom has a smart board which has been very useful to the students to study as well as the faculties to teach us.

Admission

The admission process was online. We did all the things online, including choice filling, verification, etc. We are only required to go to college only on the admission day. Before that, everything we did was online.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting. No I didn't got rejection from other colleges Eligibility 65% in previous exam, Jee or ojee exams are accepted Jee is most preferred Cutoff of jee is 60 percentile for CSE branch .
