B tech cource have 8 semesters. All semester have 2 internal and 1 final semester exam. There are labs. The course teaches us to face real time world problems Bout should reduce the syllabus and focus on extra curricular activities The exam level is very difficult. There is no scope of cheating

After 6 th sem the student can appear campus placements in the college by the college. The teachers are very helpful to get placements. Almost 20 companies visited last year. The placement percentage is 90 percent but the average package is 6 lakh and highest package is 16 lakh

The tuition fees is 12000 The complete cost of education is 27430 rupees There are different scholaeships like postmatric, kalia, labour, e medhabruti, boc I am in 2nd year so I can't appear placements

There are different fests and technical events named as utkarsh, vidyutam, mxplore etc There is a big library in the second block of the college and a new library is under construction . This is a central Library having all kinds of books. The classrooms have smart boards and 34 mb wifi. There are different clubs

After completing my 12th , I have appeared jee exam. After qualifying the exam I have applied in the ojee councelling and got selected in this college. The application fees is 10000 for seat resevation. There is reservation for sc, st, obc. There are 2 sem exams. Admission process is easy

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

Life of a student in government college of engineering keonjhar

You have to give jee mains and ojee examination to get admission in our college. As my rank was not upto the mark to get admission into vssut or outer but I was fortunate enough to get admission into this college. I would recommend this college if your rank is between 1.5lakh and above. This is the best college you will get in this rank in terms of placements . I've applied for vssut burla and cet bhubaneswar.but I've got in this college and this course from the starting. No I didn't got rejection from other colleges Eligibility 65% in previous exam, Jee or ojee exams are accepted Jee is most preferred Cutoff of jee is 60 percentile for CSE branch .
