Thou the capitation and fees is high the management takes more measures in development of the college.
Entrance Preview
I attended the entrance contected by the college for management seats. Marks was not announced but got selected because it was a management payment seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
Hard To study medicine as all knows. But when we start studying it with interest it become easier. 1st year irritates more and make us to hate the course. Hope 2nd and 3rd year will be more fine. However the syllabus is tough.
Internships Opportunities
As other medical colleges the internship in done in the same hospital. Medical college does not need any placement as already there is more hope. Anyway there is no placement in our college after internship.
College Events
In our college cultural is held yearly once mostly in month of January. It will be a function for 3 days. Students are also allowed to participate in cultural program held in other colleges.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for pondicherry CENTAC students is just 2.5 lacks but for management students it is 8 lacs. It is average when compared to other medical colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship provided. since its a private college. The college fees receipt can be used to claim loan in banks. but not full amount only the 2.5lacks.
Campus Life
There is no much encouragement in extra curricular activities because there is no time for such activities in a medical college. However there is some importance for sports.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is in good but there is no air conditioner. its very uneasy during summer season. The mess food is of good hygiene.
Alumni/Alumna
I hope there is no alumni network in the college. and they may develop it in future. But its important to have. totally 4 batches has completed course in our college.
Exam Structure
Semester exams are held early once based on rules of pondicherry university. Only for 2nd year its a 1 and half year course. Internal exams are held every week.
Faculty
The faculties in our college is very good. They are very friendly with us. Every one is highly talented. I loved my 1st year only because of the staffs. All doctors in clinical department are highly experienced.
