Great ambiance to study and have an excellent college experience
Very friendly environment with many other activities
Very helping and knowledgeable faculties.

Dislikes

Too crowdy during morning classes for lift.
2 wheeler ban in our college very recently.
Some faculties are not very friendly and helping.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was given ideas about this course from my family friends and some of my well wishers. This course is very good and one of the best in allied health sciences. Allthough the exams are difficult, our faculties help us very kindly.

Class Size: 1080Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee for this course is 2Lakhs per year. Although this course's fee is little high, i personally feel that it is worth it. All my faculties are very supportive and very kind enough to teach us all the topics very clearly.

Campus Life

Overall we have an excellent campus experience and a very fun filled college life with some important and serious situations during exams. Other than studies there are many other extra curricular activitis like sports and culturals.

Admission

I was given this course based on my 12th percentage. We can find the application forms in our college's official website. There are benefits for reservations. Exams will be conducted every 3 months once. Exams will be pretty difficult.

NIEPMD college insight

Likes

The campus environment is very good, neat and calm, the campus is well maintained and regularly cleaned
The main language that's spoken here is english, since people from all over India comes here, the common language to communicate switches to English, which is better for our English vocabulary and for future job references
It's a ragging free campus, there is strict anti ragging helpline, seniors are friendly,

Dislikes

No availability of good food nearby the college, since it's in outskirts of chennai, there is no medical or no or very few hotels around here
There is shortage of staffs here, and mostly boys to girls ratio is like 1:4 in our class,
The canteen food needed to be improved and should provide proteinacious food

Placement Experience:

The college gives internships after the final year, 6 months is the duration of the internship, 3 months inside campus and 3 months they post us outside the college to nearby hospitals or colleges like SRM,Meenakshi, Saveetha, balaji etc....Placements are average, they have to do a lot of work on it, but the coming placements are with a good salary amount

This college have good cirtificate value
This college have a great principal who is very passionate about what he is doing
You will be Able to have a budget friendly life here

Dislikes

Faculties are not upto mark but they are ok
The infrastructure is not good but yes they are improving
Very bad toilet facilities, campus is not that big

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is possible here You will get intership from nimhans Bangalore and many great places There is campus placement but Id rather recommend to have other methods coz you will get great package for this course than the place they are placing us.

Niepmd - ASIA'S only college for multiple disabilities

Likes

Asia's first college which is working for multiple disabilities
Clinical exposure will be much better than other colleges
Good teaching skills and teachers support

Dislikes

No hostel facilities for students after first year
No bus facilities for students for day scholars and outside first year hostellers
Canteen food is not good as per students need

- i want to become a doctor and this field feels very much interesting to me - yeah there will be so much clients load will have a great exposure for different disabilities and well planned treatments also - detailed review about patients by clinical staff has to be there and teaching with interest - every year annual exam and it's difficult

Placement Experience:

The course consists of 3 years and 1-year internship. Every student will be able to get job after the course because during the 1 year internship you will be able to expand your knowledge and get exposure. I plan on doing my PG after completing the degree.

A place nurtured me

Placement Experience:

During internship periods itself got placement. They published my research paper with faculty guidance during the internship itself. 100% passed out students were placed in various hospitals. Offering a Master degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Neurology.

The eligibility criteria are as follows: Applicants should have passed through HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany and Zoology. The vocational stream isn't qualified for admission. Applicant should have finished 17 years old as on 31st December of the admission year

Student who passed 12th is eligible to join any course. Admission can be taken in online saveetha site as well as offline in saveetha college sail library 1st floor.
