Being a Cse student, we have many things to learn here in each semester. And the tech related events is quite exciting which made me choose this course Silicon is less real world oriented but it is more academically oriented. The subjects taught are quite good The major improvement is to make the course more real world oriented and but the faculty is too good they are available everytime to help you clear your doubts.

Since I am in 3rd sem currently I won't be able to tell my experience. And I did my summer internship which was provided by college and it was quite good and there was no stipend. I opted for the Java course in the internship. It was after 2bd semester

In silicon campus placement eligibility is from 6th semester. Our college have a decent placement and the ROI is quite good. Accenture TCS Mindtree Wipro AcesoCloud Capgemini are some of the renowned companies visited. About 160 companies visited this year and the no. Of offers made was around 850. The highest package is 30LPA and the average was around 4.5 LPA. and around 80 percent students were placed I am thinking to give GATE and pursue Masters

The tution fees is quite affordable here as compared to other private colleges. My cost of education is 150000 for 1 year. And since I am staying in hostel i have to pay ab extra 30000 You can also available scholarship on the basis of jee rank and whether you are having a resident certificate of odisha and your family financial condition must be less than 2 lakh. The scholarship scheme is also known as TFW.

The annual fest is ZYGON and the major techfest that takes place is NIRMAN. There are other event also going on like rythmnova, music fest etc. ZYGON generally held in the 1st phase of the year. There is a wide range of books related to various genre like novels, fiction, and other research papers. Curriculum books. Books are also available regarding GATE and CAT, UPSC preparation. We also have e-library where you have access to more than 1 lakh books. There are many sports events going on. But as our college is very strict regarding academics. It is difficult to devote your time towards sports. We have 2 basketball ground, 1 cricket ground, badminton area, football and volleyball. There are many extracurricular activities going on like dance, music, ramp walk, nukkad natak, robotics etc

The hostel is quiet decent. We have basic facilities like table, chair, bed, almirah. It is good. The mess is also good. As compared to other colleges we have a good mess. But can't be as good as home. It will work sometimes. But Saturday meal is too bad. Hostel registration process starts after the counseling and College admission. It is done via online. Since th hostel price is 30,000 for a year so it is affordable.

You have to clear your class 12th board and matriculation. As well as you must give jee mains or ojee( Odisha jee) to get into this college. The admission to this college is done through ojee counselling and you will get a seat and branch based on your jee mains or ojee rank. Also college counselling is held just after the jee exam results. Reservation is for OBC, SC, ST as well as odisha citizen and someone have resident certificate of odisha I think so it is a good system of admission
