My experience with Sathyabama University with no prior knowledge about colleges!

The course they offer is great, For instance I too Data Science and the courses they offer is totally relevant and it is super easy. The staffs are extremely friendly. The important point to be noted here is some staff would just read the lesson off of PPT. So I can't say that for every staffs. Some are great, some are bad. Still the courses are so good!

I've no experience with campus placement but they do provide palcement class for sudents for 50k. I've heard that good comapnies come for placement and there are some decent packages. No idea bout anything. The placement classes are not good, they hire teachers from other institutions to teach us and often they teach without any breaks, only 45 minutes for lunch,then we need to sit through for 6 hours with no washroom breaks and I hated it.

The scholarships are good, Try to score good marks in the first semester, because the college will check your marks. If you managed to score within top 3, then they give certificates and reduce some amount from your college amount. You could take educational loan, and manage the tuition fees payment. I've no experience with employment opportunities but heard that they give nice employment. Compared to other deemed colleges, Sathaybama is so cheap with free food and free bus services!

The overall campus life is not so good, it may be vary for everyone but according to me Sathayabama is not good with club abd extra curricular activities such as organizing events and those stuffs. All the importance is towards studies, so that's a major downside. I stayed in college hostel for 6 months and TBH I hated it because students shouldn't leave campus without any permission. Eberytime when you want to leave hostel you need to call your parents and get consent from them, then write a letter and get it signed from warden, all these should be a day prior of your outing. So, for me the campus life is pretty bad! Better take PG out with your friends.

The hostel is too bad, The water is only available in scheduled timing. They provide you with two large tabs where we should fill water and use it till the next water scheduled. And the toilets aren't clean either, pretty bad. When I first visited hostel, There were so many stains in toilet. So I left hostel after a sem and took PG with my best friend for the same amount. And it is good. The sathyabama food is super good. They provide extraordinary unlimited food and that's the only thing good about hostel, nothing else.

The admission processs was quite easy. I just called the college with the number I got from Google, I asked them for admission. They gave me two options, A)You could take aa admission and test and they will reduce the fees by the percentage acciqured form the exam B) Or you could just pay 50k (50k in 2022) and secure the seat for any courses. The important thing is, the admission fess varies as it increases over time. In simple words, If you don't want to take any exams then you could opt for Sathyabama.
