Remarks

This college is constantly working to be better and there has been a lot of improvement in the infrastructure, the standard or faculty and overall development of the college. This effort needs to be continued to achieve better results.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE, got into the college through the Haryana state counseling. the college was AIEEE approved and has good infrastructure and is approved by prestigious Kurukshetra university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was as per the kurukshetra University. It had many subjects based on latest technologies. However, there were few subjects whose syllabus was outdated. In the first year, there were many common subjects across different branches. Everyone had to study basics of computer and electronics and mechanical so as to have a general idea about different branches of engineering. After that, the syllabus was more focused on the branch of engineering you have opted for.

Placement Experience

3.5

Initially, there were not many good companies coming to the college for placements but now the scene has changed and my good companies provide good opportunities. Hcl, icici, wipro, TCS, solitaire Infosys, tech Mahindra were the few companies which come for campus placements regularly. There are many other scientific instruments manufacturers companies which come for the on-campus placements. Packages range from 3lacs to 5.2 lacs annually.

College Events

4.5

There were plenty of events and functions in the college. Ranging from sports events, cultural events, etc. People from different colleges used to participate in the various types of events and competitions held. Athletics, cricket, table tennis, football, volleyball were the major sports events. The annual fest featured cultural events. Whereas the technical fests included debugging, technical papers presentations, quizzes etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college was very balanced. The college fee and the hostel fee and the fee for the various exams were justified and didn't burn a hole in the pocket. Students who were unable to pay the whole fee in one go were given the option to pay in a feasible and well-structured installment form. There are no extra annual charges or random extra charges.

Fees and Financial Aid

College is very supportive of the students from the poor financial background. There is a provision of a special scholarship for them. In addition to it, there is a provision of scholarship for students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories. Colleges also help in providing students with education loans with tie-ups with major banks.

Alumni/Alumna

Students passed from the institute over the years are doing great in their respective fields. They have been in constant touch with the college through the college alumni association. They come for guest lectures and interactions and dynamics of industries and new trends and technologies.

Exam Structure

In one semester there are three internal exams and a final semester exam conducted by the university. Each semester has also an Internal and an external practical. The sessional exams proved a good background for the main semester exams. The exam schedule is designed so that student is well prepared for the main exams.

Admission

Appeared for AIEEE, applied for Haryana state counseling. Thereafter the college was alloted. Reported to the college with required documents for verification and admission. The admission process was easy and not hectic and adequate and capable staff was available for making the experience a good one. The administration was supportive and helpful. Following the completion of the above mentioned process, I joined the college in the mentioned date.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was well capable of carrying out the classes however few of them lacked experience and that was evident in the lectures. The faculty was helpful and supportive or one's doubts. Mathematics and physics faculty was really good. The classes were followed by the practicals which made the learning and understanding easier. There were sufficient labs Nd adequate lab equipments. The faculty used to help after the lectures also in free time to clear any additional doubts if any.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin from the 6th semester. The highest package offered so far is Rs. 40 LPA, and the average package is around Rs. 8 LPA. A few companies have visited, and the placement cell is still growing. Exact placement percentages have not been shared yet. I plan to focus on internships and skill-building during the course and aim to apply for tech roles after graduation, both on-campus and off-campus.
