What Students Say

Likes

The things i like in the gitam is the atmosphere and the different courses
The events they conduct and the grading system
And also there will only 5 working days in a week

Dislikes

The timings of gitam is somewhat dislikeble
And i found that some of the courses are useless
And there some rules which they dont follow

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose cse because of more opportunities in the it field and for more job opportunities and placements and the teachers are well qualified in the campus with very good skills and the exams are moderate

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities in gitam after 5th semester and companies like tcs offered internships and I don't have idea about stipend and there are many entrepreneur opportunities in gitam

Placement Experience

The students are eligible for the campus placements after the 5th semester and the companies like amazon dell etc vists the campus and with the average package of 8lakhs and with the highest package of 24lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

There is different fees for the different coureses and it's like 345000 for the cse course without including the hostel and bus fees which is separately paid and you will get merit scholarship based on the rank you got in the course

Campus Life

Gitam is not only about studies you can explore many things other than studies based on your passion and there are many clubs in the university like ncc tech clubs and also dance music etc and there is course for the sports

Admission

There is a Entrance exam called as Gat you should have 75 percentage in your boards the application form will be available in There official website and if you get a rank bellow 5000 then you will get scholarship

Interview Experience

There are no such group discussion and interviews for the admission and there is a entrance exam exam and the consist of maths physics chemistry and reasoning aptitude kind of concepts the intermediate syllabus is sufficient to attempt the entrance exam

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed

well tried few eamcet collages and also collages through mains but not got confirmed since i got scholarship in gitam and everything else is good i chose gitam over other collages . isnt like rejections but many collages demands more money without any scholarship. in gitam we get admission if you pass +1 and +2 but if you need scholarship we can write exam or join through eamcet or mains score...Read More

This college had good reviews. I didnt score great in my other entrance examinations . Other private colleges were my only option but i found this college. They had everything i needed .
