Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is Bca science,I actually opted to this course because I was having having interest in technical studies and this college is one of the oldest and very reputed college of our area , because the staff , teachers, campus everything is great here , and all the faculty are highly qualified most of them have done PhDs, and exams were also happening in very timely manner first there are internal exams then after a month there are external and this process is repeated after every 6 months as there are 6 semester and exams were very easy for those who attended clg regularly

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Almost all the companies that visited offers a internship also and full time also and tasks for interns are almost same as that of full timers so there is no difference but yes interns get less money and also the teaching they get is more than that of full timers

Placement Experience

3.5

After 4 th sem placement process starts based according to criteria of companies, more than 30 companies have visited till now for various roles of tech and non tech. My plan is to pursue masters as many companies are looking for a master's degree and you can only sit for placement process if you have no current backlog and 60%-70% aggregate till current sem

Fees and Financial Aid

This topic was actually concerning of this college as they increased their fees directly 11k after first year without giving any prior notice or reason for increase. My placement rounds are still going so Im not yet placed but yes companies are coming and mostly MNCs are coming.

Campus Life

3.5

College campus is good and canteen, library, basketball ground is awesome, also every year there is a famous event called gusto is also organised where all the students can take part various events, committee etc, there is also garden areas in college where there is a fresh air area for relaxing.

Admission

So there are basically 3 merit lists ,my admission was confirmed in 3 rd list, on college website you will get course details and you can apply from there, once you apply you will have to give a college assessment test so based on that there will be a merit list and cut off for that college is minimum 75%(it's basically above 80 But in some cases they take till 75 also is seats are remaining or anyone cancels admission) once you give test then accordingly there will be merit list and only above mentioned percentage students can only apply

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is somehow outdated I guess , they should change the curriculum it's my request as we are in 21st century and still the old syllabus is being taught , The problem is with the exam cgpa rule Seriously if I see them the curriculum is just for below basic level , the remaining amount has to be done ourselves with extra efforts of you want to grab higher Less theoretical more practical is my suggestion Difficulty is quite normal ...

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are strong, with students eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. Top companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs visit the campus, offering a range of roles in fields like software development, data science, and consulting. Last year, the highest salary package was ?45 LPA (from Google), with the average package around ?8-12 LPA. About 85-90% of eligible students secure placements. If I don’t pursue a campus offer, I plan to either pursue higher studies or look into entrepreneurship opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the good thing about this college and this particular course is that many students like me will think and want to switch careers like i did from management to IT. For bca here they dont ask for maths or science background which gave me a great opportunity to explore this field. Again the teaching and management depends on person to person some were good some didnt worked out

Remarks:

It's a good college for bca across the nagpur city that I have experienced. The main thing in this college is it is very strict for students it doesn't allow the students to bunk lectures and go home in middle hours it's very seriously about that you need proper get pass for leaving in middle hours and the college takes it's lectures regularly. That's what I like about the college.thank you
