Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course so that I could open up my own business in the later years of my life and i believe that basic business knowledge before entering into the industry is a must for any individual, i usually score good, the papers are generally not too tough if you have a good understanding of the subject, even if you don't know the answer, you can write enough to get you a decent score, the highlight are the teachers of this college, most of them are extremely helpful and the only reason I like this college

Internships Opportunities

3

I worked in a start up called GTL Software where I worked for 2 months and had the position of marketing and HR intern, I was tasked with multiple roles.such as hiring, social media manager etc. I also worked in a second company but didn't receive the offer from the college side

Placement Experience

2

Students can do internships from the second year and they are eligible for placements during their final semesters, usually our college has a wide base of companies, but due to the recent slowdown of the job market the amount of companies have reduced and the packages are also not that attractive since last year, the highest package ever is 48-52 lakhs international and 18-20 lakhs domestic , average package is around 2-5 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is 5-10% per year, and the cost to study is manageable as compared to symbiosis, my course fee was 1.5 lakhs but the newer batches have different fee structures so I can not help with that, but overall I have seen people from all stratas of life in my college so I would say a lower middle class family is able to afford that with a loan and anything above lower middle class can pay the fee without much issue

Campus Life

2.5

Our annual fest is called xpressions, it is a 3 day multicultural fest with themes attached to each day, generally the themes change every year but the last day is the dj night and everyone gets together both teachers and students, the classrooms recently got upgraded with smart boards and I think the college is also about to have air conditioning

Admission

I gave the BU-MAT online as there was covid during my batch, i cleared the entrance, and got in , the process was not complicated and the teachers are usually there to assist you during your admission procedure

College is fun and the teachers took a lot of care about classes and helped us in whatever way they could. Sports facilities are also very good and they encourage us at the fullest. The office people are sometimes not very helpful and they trouble you for small small things.

Remarks:

The college is not good, no personality development, no extracurricular resources, etc. However, the academics was excellent. The college gives a vintage look, considering the walls with stone arrangement gives the place a nice antique look. However the overall experience is bad. No fun, no curriculum activities with potential, etc.
