Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course because my father and mother are both pharmacist and they wanted me to do the same. The Faculty:student ratio here is 1:8. The current Director here is Dr. Deepak Teotia and the current HoD of D Pharma is Mr. Arun Kumar. Mr sarfaraz ahmed is the associate professor of Pharmaceutical chemistry. The teachers are mostly good and encouraging, but some of the teachers are just the passout Mpharma students of the college, and they dont have required experience to teach here the exams are conducted yearly and they were easy to pass.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure here is 75000 rs. So in under 2 lakh rupees you can get you diploma in pharmacy. I don't know much about the scholarship system here, But I think for females students there is some kind of Concession here. Overall, the cost to study here is from my point is reasonable here.

Campus Life

3.5

There are no such kind of events organised in our college. There is wifi facility present all over the campus. However there is no Hostel facility in the institute. The booms are present in the college in a good amount, you can issue 3 books at a time. Canteen is also present here. The classrooms have smart board facilities too and the labs are also well maintained. Sports and cultural activities are held at annual sports day. No there is no such social group or club present in the college.

Admission

The GIPER college is a well reputed college in kashipur which is established in 2009. The eligibility of the course was to have either PCM or PCB with atleast 45% in intermediate. The admission is as usually done on the basis of JEEP entrance exam which is conducted by UBTER Board. The application form fee is 800 rs for general and OBC and 500 rs for SC, ST. The application form usually starts in mid January and commences on mid april. Then the result is declared and councelling is done in approx 3 rounds. No, as I am general, I didn't take any reservation benefits. No, the admission process was smooth, I do not wish to see any improvement here.

The pharmacy is an excellent for securing a good life financially and has a respectable job all over the world. The curriculum prepares me for the real world by giving exposures in th field and through practical learning . I'll suggest to improve the the teaching as it has to be more practical . The frequency of exam timing should be 3 hours minimum .
