I chose this course because I wanted to treat people. Faculty and student ratio is not much different.It is approximately 1:25. Mpt and phd holders. There is semester system in this college. It is quite difficult to pass the exams. College is under utkal university. Internal exams are held in this college

Internships Opportunities

After completing the 4years course 6months internship is provided by the college in the Hitech medical college. And there is also opd Clinic facilities where the inters are posted in the time of internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure in this college is approximately 10lakhs. Studying in this college is not so costly because it is in proper bhubaneswar.The college approved government scholarship. There is no placement opportunities by the college.

Campus Life

No fest no functions only studies! Freshers happens once in a year! Ganesh puja,Sara's wait puja and physiotherapy day! Here badminton court,basket ball court and cricket ground are there! There is a sports club too in this college

Hostel Facilities

There is 4seater room present in the hostel. Hostel here is not so good. Rooms are very much small and suffocated. Meal are also not so good. Fees for hostel is 60,000 per year. Hostel are not so well maintained.

Admission

The eligibility of this college is 12th science with biology with a minimum of 60% in the 12th boards. I got to know about this college from Google. There is no reservation in this college! I took admission in the year 2021 at that time fees was 2 lakhs.

I choosed this course as I always wanted to help peoples. I always wanted to join a medical course. So when I got a chance to join this course, I felt overwhelmed and joined this college. There are fields that need to be improved such as utmost importance should be given to clinical classes rather than theory classes. Attendance should not be followed this strictly as due to unavoidable circumstances sometimes students fail to fulfil the attendance criteria, still they should be given a chance to face the examinations. The frequency of examinations are 2 times a year along with moderate level of difficulty.

Placement Experience:

Svnirtar is known for it's placements. This college itself is a reputation. Students have to clear entrance examinations to study here. After fourth year there's a compulsory paid internship programme of six months. This boosts patients exposure and expertises the therapists.

NIRTAR-Through The Eyes Of a Student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to do something for the people. I was interested in choosing the medical field. So when I got the opportunity to do this course, so I felt lucky getting this opportunity. Scopes may be challenging but the happiness is intense after treating patients. Areas for improvement in the course curriculum is more scopes should be introduced and we should get more respect and high paying salary for existing in this field. Frequency of exam is twice a year But timing of exams and classes needs to be managed badly as exams are being conducted anytime without much gap. The datesheet releases and we get to know exams are within a week so it becomes challenging for us to prepare well for the exams. Exams should be scheduled in a better manner. So that students can get more time to prepare properly for exams. The clinicals prepares us for how to face patients and prepares us for the real world applications. We here make a good relationship with patients while giving therapy which we will cherish forever.

I chose to study Physiotherapy because I wanted to serve mankind and it was one of my dreams to serve humanity being a medical professional. Yes, I am happy that I am fulfilling my dream. In fact, in this proffession, I have to offer my services to disabled people and it's a great feeling when the patient comes in a wheel chair with all hopes of walking again shattered but returns walking on his feet. It gives a great feeling of satisfaction and their blessings matters a lot. It also teaches us that everybody in this world are facing their real world challenges and struggling for their existence. Of course, we have to study a lot as we have to deal with the human body, so we need to be that efficient and accurate to make them well. But yes, it's the beauty of this proffession all the hardwork turns into gold when the smile of patients return back and they return happily.

The college is very good for the students approaching for the Bpt course.

From childhood, I wanted to treat the people having pain.And when i came to know about physiotherapy ,I choose this course as it is the way to treat patients without drugs. The faculty student ratio is much not different. It is approximately 1:20. Most of the faculties are MPT and Ph.D holders.The college is run under Utkal University. The couse has total 8 semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a very pleasant profession.where you can give service to people . Rehabilitation is important in treatment procedure . Faculty - some of them are PG holder with good years of experience and some are PhD holder with 25 years of experience . They have many research papers and published many important Books in Physiotherapy . The teaching process is theoretical and practical basis with good Cooperation from faculties . It is a 4 year course with 6 months of internship . Each year consists of 2 semester - theory paper and practical .
