Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum: The Bachelor's program in Computer Science at islamia College offers a comprehensive curriculum covering core subjects such as algorithms, data structures, and programming languages. What attracted me to the program was the inclusion of cutting-edge courses like artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are highly relevant to the current industry trends. Faculty Members: The faculty members are industry veterans with extensive experience in both academia and practical applications. Dr. Smith, for instance, has published several research papers in renowned conferences, showcasing the faculty's commitment to staying at the forefront of the field. Faculty:Student Ratio: With a low faculty:student ratio of 1:15, the program ensures a personalized learning experience. This allows for more in-depth discussions during lectures and fosters a collaborative environment where students can actively engage with professors

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees Structure: At Islamia College University, the fees structure for the Computer Science program includes a tuition fee of 10,000 per semester, a one-time registration fee of rs500, and additional charges for laboratory access and student services. Opportunities for Scholarship: The university offers the Academic Excellence Scholarship, providing a 50% tuition fee waiver for students with a GPA of 3.8 or above. This scholarship is renewable each semester based on continued high academic performance. Financial Assistance: The Financial Aid Office at Islamia College administers the Need-Based Assistance Program, offering grants and low-interest loans to students with demonstrated financial need. The application process involves submitting financial documents for assessment.

Campus Life

5

Islamia College offers a dynamic and engaging campus life, fostering a strong sense of community among its diverse student body. Weekly social events, including "Mix and Mingle Mondays" and "Cultural Exchange Fridays," provide students with ample opportunities to connect and forge lasting friendships. The university boasts an array of student-run clubs, such as the Adventure Club for outdoor enthusiasts, the Literary Society for book lovers, and the Entrepreneurship Club for aspiring business leaders. Modern infrastructure, featuring well-equipped classrooms with interactive whiteboards and projectors, enhances the overall learning experience.

Admission

Application Process: Prospective students submit an online application through the college's official website. The application typically includes personal information, academic transcripts, recommendation letters, and a statement of purpose. Application fees may be required. Entrance Exam: Certain programs may require applicants to take an entrance exam. For example, a college might have a standardized test or a subject-specific exam for specific courses. The exam assesses the candidate's knowledge and skills relevant to the chosen program. Cut-Off Scores: After the entrance exam, the college determines cut-off scores based on the number of available slots and the overall performance of the applicants. Cut-off scores may vary for different programs and can be influenced by factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty of the entrance exam, and the college's admission policies. Selection Process: Applicants who meet or exceed the cut-off scores are shortlisted for further

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it helps you to build you career in lot of sector like in banking . The curriculum helps me in lot of aspects I can do many things with this and can pursue further academics. The are that are needed to be improved is the infrastructure of the campus so that students will like to come to college and they will love to study. The exams are taken often but they sometimes hurries a lot, like they did in our 5th and 6th semester, there is only 3mnths gap as we need almost 6mnths to cover the syallabus.
