Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good and faculty members are average as only few members are their to take every semester students, there is need of some more and good faculties for the students. I choose this course as I had a chance to get a degree of government college because it'll beneficial in my future career options and also I have interest in biology as well as IT so this course was good for me all over. Faculties are experienced ones and teaching methods are average as not so good or not so bad. The semester exams are held in the gap of every 6 months, per year two semesters are there. It's not that difficult to pass in the exams as they consider only 30% of marks from total to pass students.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are available after graduation and while studying many training and lab activity programs are conducted and sent to every students. Till now I've not completed my graduation I can't say much about stipend and companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees structure is average but I don't understand why they increase it every year as the college goes under government college, it shouldbe the same structure. No scholarships are provided and NO good campus facilities its all on your skills and knowledge.

Campus Life

3.5

Life at campus is good, no annual fests are organised in campus only senoirs and juniors need to take the responsiblities to organise and plan for freshers and farewell thats it. In terms of books in library, it is available all the time during college hours only except sunday. Classrooms are big and nice But benches are little less comfortable and infrastructure is value for money. Sports and extra curricular activities are also very good and important part of skills, priorities are given equally with sports. Many social groups are invited to college for the students to be aware of it and to take part in it, there are no such websites runned or opened by the students.

Admission

I've applied for this college when they published a letter for admission open as government has increased some seats. I had given an entrance exam for qualification as this is a government college and I cleared it by ranking 2nd position in that exam. The eligibility of the course is 12th science(with or without maths) and 50% and above in 12th boards. The application process and other details are available on their college's website in google. No reservation benefits as this is a self financing course. No as everything is available inside the college itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I love computers and I have deep intrest in computer science sk I choose this course. I learned much necessary things in the college. College should help and provide skills according to the students. There were hackathons done by the college which is a good step towards the development of students. The main focus should be in the practical knowledge than the thoery as in real world students have to deal with projects where labs practices play a major role.

Placement Experience:

the placements are preety good in this college . however currenty the job market is down so it has impacted the college placements. from 6th semester onwards students become eligible for placements however the companies visit from 7th sem onwards . many renowned companies visit along with multiple startups offering from a range 4 lpa to 24 lpa all based on the potential of the students. the college offers a 100% placement but looking at current senario it seems difficult. mostly companies hire for sowftware engineers and product manager roles but , also provide marketing and sales job roles. 25 lakhs per annum is the highest package in the recent time average package is abput 5-10 lakhs per annum. though college promises 100% placements, the actual percentage is quite low about 50-60% students are getting placed which is also a result of the current job market scenario my plans after this degree is joining a company and finding my passion . i can also tink about my own startup based on my passion to make a change in the society .
