Course Curriculum Overview
The BCom curriculum at Surana seamlessly integrates practical and theoretical elements, offering a robust foundation in commerce, accounting, and business aligned with industry needs. The diverse subject options enhance the educational experience. Choosing BCom at Surana goes beyond a checkbox; it's about fueling my dream of a career in financial analysis. Surana's focus on practical skills and industry connections is appealing. The faculty-student ratio of 50:1, much smaller than other colleges, ensures a personalized experience. Professors, recognizing students individually, encourage questions, and provide tailored guidance, fostering interactive learning. Faculty members at Surana hold impressive credentials, including master's degrees, industry certifications, and hands-on experience in top companies. Term exams were conducted timely, providing a structured assessment schedule. Almost every 6 months exam is taken semester wise. and an internal Exam every month.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees and policy of this college are quite acceptable for all those students who want to get study in this college. Fees per year around 2016 was 20000/-, which is not very high and not very low it is a medium budget ranged fees for every student to get admission here. The student also has the chance to get the scholarship given by the Karnataka Government and that scholarship provides you financial help to complete your graduation. But there was no scholarship programs from colleges side, all the scholarship that cam be availed were introduced by govt.
Campus Life
The campus is quite small, it comprises 4-5 buildings, offering a single course with few students. The library, though small, is modern, well-maintained, and includes desktops. Teachers arrange guest lectures for subject clarification which is very unique The college organizes sports, extracurricular activities, and social clubs, including cultural, sports, and dance clubs. Events like "Verve" and "TechSpark" focus on project work related to the curriculum. Annual fests, freshers parties, and farewell parties add to the vibrant campus life. Despite many social clubs being inactive due to the pandemic, clubs like Swachh Bharat remain. Numerous personality development clubs run by seniors enhance social interaction and skill development.
