Remarks

The lecturers were good, and also our building was constructed newly. There is no bus facility available in our college though… But one thing I like the most is that they value knowledge more importantly than marks and also the co-operation of our faculties. Thus, my overall experience was very good.

Entrance Preview

There is no entrance exam required to gain admission in this college. I landed in this college as it had a very low fee for the whole course since it is a government college, and also as it was close to my home. Yes, they did take an interview for me but I don’t know of others. I chose this course mainly because friends were going to join it and also as my family also recommended it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Good is all I can say about the course that this college offers. Since it is a B. Com course, we have no focus on practical learning and also there is no lab available. There are no Research Initiatives taken by our college or institute. We also do not have any elective options available for this course.

Internships Opportunities

No internship offers are provided by our college, So, I have no experience. I also have no idea about the stipend Amount.

Placement Experience

1

No, we do not have any placement options available to us from the college. So, I cannot say about the percentage. And also, we have no companies to visit or organize the interviews in our campus. Only the Lecturers in our department help us get a place by using their links in companies and their recommendation.

College Events

3

Yes, our college does organize many fests out of which many are based on cultural events. They are usually big but last only for a whole day at max. They do not hold classes also on that day. Majority of the students take part in the events and almost all of the students do come to the fests, SO I can say that the footfall would be around 600. The students are the only one to pay and organize such events, the college does not contribute to such events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was very affordable for us. We had to pay around Rs. 3,000 for every single semester (6 months) or around Rs. 6,000 for a whole year. The college fee includes fee for every individual facility available out of which some are tuition fees, library fees, sports fees, also college development fees and so on.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college does provide scholarship options but not to all. They have their own list of requirements. I did not avail any scholarship. Also, there is no educational loan facility provided by our college. And there are no banks also available close to the college premises.

Campus Life

3

Yes, our college does have extracurricular activities. There are several such out of which some are sports such as cricket, volleyball. Yes, we do get a lot of ample opportunities to discover our inner talents. The college does have good facility for such activities such as they have provided a coach for sports, and then cricket ground is also there near to the college.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No hostel service is provided by our college and also there are no PG available around the campus. But there are some hotel or flats that can be used to stay by an Individual. They do not provide such facilities as they still have to develop the campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Surely, we had a good communication with the alumni of our college. Our Lecturers used to introduce them to us and also helped in interaction. Yes, the alumni did used to contribute to the overall development of the college.

Exam Structure

The exams were somewhat difficult for us. We do have internals but they are very strict. Yes, we do have Internals. We usually have 2 subjects for internals per day, and also, we do not get any leave between days. The external exams were average, and we do get around 2-3 days holiday between each subject and sometimes they also give 10 days’ holiday. The exams were not a chill culture for me.

Faculty

4

All the faculties are degree holders and are much qualified, and some are even PhD holders. Majority of the faculties are experienced but we do have some new teachers that have no experience as well. The faculties are very interactive and are very good towards us and they are always available to us but they are strict. The standard of teaching is good.

Some of the companies that has offered me during placement are KPMG, Deloitte and Accenture also hdfc bank Only 30-40% get selected for placement most get rejected or student will have plan for further studies. One of my friend got the highest package in the class which was 624000/lpa I had thought of persuing mba so did not accept any offers but once I completed degree gave interview in my own and got selected.

Also, there will be a summer internship program during the summer holiday days after the second year which is mandatory almost 70 to 80% of the final years get placed either a big firm or a small firm. The minimum requirement for applying for placements is 60 percentage for most of the companies and 75 percentage for few companies.
