Remarks
The college is overall good but due to the declining rate of engineering aspirants, the number of students is also decreasing. But till now, the electrical and mechanical branches are getting good admissions. The administration of college is also good and cooperative, my time spent studying at JNIT has been both a rewarding and eye-opening experience I have gained knowledge as well asthe skillsnecessary to become successful outside of the academic environment. I have not only grown as a person, but I have also acquired the foundation for furthering my formal education and the tools I will need to shape a career
Entrance Preview
I appeared for RPET 2007. I was selected through direct counseling as there was no interview process. I chose this course and this college because my family knows very well about this college and I don't any more knowledge and I was very confused to select any college for higher study.
Course Curriculum Overview
Nothing more other than sports like TT and cricket some classes for GD were also organised.Industry exposure is good. The curriculum was helpful but very short and not well managed in a good manner. Yes, we did lots of research work during the course in my CS field.
Internships Opportunities
No college did provide any I tern ship programme and we need to complete it from another institute as I did it from embedded technology centre from Jaipur
Placement Experience
Not dat good bcz in 2011ECE batch most of the students remained unplaced just bcz of failure of campus on not providing the platform where the companies could recruit the freshers..To be very precise, the of the college is average overall but talking about selections, the CS branch got the highest number of placements. The maximum package is for CS branch 3.79 lakhs. The overall average is 1.56 lakh PA. The 80% student got placed by the college but some are self-placed. Companies like Oppo, Vivo, Maruti-Suzuki etc visited for placements. The internships abroad took a few students and talking about in India, they are a lot. The maximum salary is 2.56 lakhs
College Events
The infrastructure of the college is awesome. The college is fully Wi-Fi enabled also can access the Internet through broadband in labs. The classes are smart and labs are fully equipped but their maintenance is average. The quality of food in the canteen is better and at nominal rates. Good hostel rooms are available and strictness is at par. During my session i.e. 2007 -2011, I faced a problem related to lab instruments which not performing with poor maintenance. Sports facilities are available. An annual sports week and an annual fest are organised named VERVE.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees was at moderate level.but somerime the faculties and HODs demands for extra bucks for extra curriculam activities like robotics , science labs etc inspite of we had already made the payment for the said things.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, our college doesn't provide any scholarship to the students but RTU provides NEFT sheet, through this students get 10% relaxation in their tuition fees. Through govt. schemes student gets the scholarship but college didn't give any loan facility and scholarship facility.
Campus Life
Every year fresher party organised by the seniors for the juniors through this they explore their experience and inner skills. Every year college calls a celebrity, for celebrity welcome every student gets a platform to explore their skills and learn new skills.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was not that good. hostel charges is around 5000/- per month which is affordable for everyone according to me.Hostel is only two sharing rooms with separate beds, Almira, and study table etc. Internet facility is not so good and food quality is also ok ok.
Alumni/Alumna
All Seniors are very good but hostel seniors are superb, they help to complete our assignment on time. They give us full knowledge about the future. They help us a lot throughout the engineering.
Exam Structure
No its been so cool........In college, every student are having a good attitude and I also.but I focused on my study fully and I completed my all study plan before my exam with my group so that We didn't take any tension about my exam.
Faculty
The faculty of JNIt is highly educated and experienced. They are very humble and have a good coordination with students. Some are rude, but it depends on the student's attitude. Overall, teachers are good and the student-teacher ratio is also good. They give time to students. The whole syllabus is planned by RTU and our college fulfils all the requirements. The RTU syllabus is not updated that is why we get an average industry exposure. Talking about the curriculum, it is average in my view.
