BKBIET - A Engineering college in the Heart of Pilani

I have prepared for Officer enteries in the defence forces but got rejected due to some health issues. to keep an window open in the defence forces i chose this course because an engineer gets a few more enteries to get in defence forces as compared to other UG courses. on the other hand B.tech is a professional coourse in which you get exposed to the technology, devlopment in certan sectors etc. In my institue theres a good faculty:ratio. it is 8:1 to be exact. The faculty has excelled in their respective fields. some are asst. profeesor some are profeesor and some have done and pursuing there PhD also. They teach pretty well and have a good grasp on their subject and all the topics. The term exams are sometimes too early and sometimes right on time. We get informed about two weeks ago and because of that we get plenty of time to get prepared for the exams and get our doubts cleared as well.

There are many companies which offer paid internships secure meter genus aditya birla group grasshoper etc. There are various teams at the institute. students make teams to make various projects some of the projects are digital attendance system. library management system. electric tricycle for disableds IoT based Smart houses IoT based smart parking etc.

Students become eligible for placements as soon as they enter into 6th semeseter. There are more than 140+ companies which come to campus for placement. some of those are Genus (6LPA and 32 offers) , Secure meter (5LPA and 55 offers) Hexaview (6 LPA and close to 40 offers) Triology innovations (36.5 LPA and 3 offers) companies hire for GET which have a average package 4.5 LPA, and thode who get placed as SDE -1 get a average package of 16 LPA. but still there are few students which do not get placed because of poor performence during the placements or throughout the course. At hte end the placement percentage is about 76% I will try to get selected in the defence forces thta is my primary goal. to back myself and support my family i will try to get into Triology innvoations or Byju's.

The fees is a generous amount for a course like B.tech. The fee gets increased by some 2000-2500 by per new batch. and for the already enrolled students the fee gets hiked by 800-1000 per semester. i myself wasnt concerened about any sort of scholarship. But there are plenty of scholarship available for students and espacially for girl students. The students mostly get paid internships by the institue. the institue provides enough training and knowledge to get prepared for industry work.

The life at campus is pretty fine. there are a few fests Swarsangam - which is a cultural fest, Quazzar - which is Sports fest , Anantam - A Tech fest And then BASANT - which is the annual fest of the institute. almost every book related to syllabus of course is available at the college library, There are philosophical books poems stories spritual and all sort of books are available in the library. The class rooms are pretty huge in the size with capacity of sitting 80 students at one time. the rooms are airy, filled with natural lighting and specious also. There are no digital boards or Airconditioning still but its all good. There are many sports and teams such as kabbaddi volly ball basket ball foot ball tennis table tennis. NCC is there and also NSS is there as well. one can participate in anything of his choice. There is Nirmaan (An NGO), then a music club, drama club, photography club and clubs like GDSC NSCC are also available.

The college accepts admission of the student who have done there 12th with PCM and had a good score in JEE. Lateral enteries are also accepted of the students who have completed their diploma in their respective fields. one can get admission in the college by visiting the campus. the institute have a online portal for application on its official website as well. Admission process does not have any benifits of reservation. it is totally base don cutt off and allotment on the basis of JEE score and 12th score. The admission process is quite zn ease in it self. But the institute should bring more Transperancy in the Branch allotment. They charge extra for "confirming your seat" in branches like CS and DS and later on inform you that there were no seats available.
