Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I didn't get a mbbs seat and also didn't want to waste a whole year in preparation. A brief faculty to student ratio is somewhat about 10. Faculty is qualified and interested in teaching.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 1500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is 2,40,000. There are many scholarships for medical courses. College provide scholarship to university topper. There is no campus job as such. For scholarships you can always apply for govt and private scholarship programme's.

Campus Life

There are few pros and cons of campus life. Pros include the yearly fests. Students participation is mandatory. Other than fests there are many events monthly. Cons is the location of campus. Campus is far away from the main city so you have to travel for atleast 45 min to watch a movie.

Admission

Admission was through neet rank. It need to qualify neet to get in any medical courses. Application forms, application fees and application dates can be found through college website. Reservation benifit are availed to those who are concerned.

The curriculum of the first year is similar to that of mbbs cause the course has all the subjects present in mbbs and also 2 subject extra which is preclinical.so the curriculum of the first year is similar. Also the other years subject are similar to general medicine.

Dentistry is more often chosen course after mbbs As it was World wide accepted degree So you can go anywhere in other countries after bds and you will get good salary minimum 75lakh to maximum 3 crore and if you have ability to setup clinic so you can easily get up upto 1 lakh per month easily

A decent and detailed information.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are some subject which are going to be common with mbbs physiology and anatomy and biochemistry and also they are most difficult in whole course. The timing of classes are 8.10am to 3.40 pm.(extendable). You get a daily practical period of any one subject. You get 3 to 4 assignment every week and given time for each assignment is 1 week.

Is pgids Rohtak good for bds ?

I am someone who loves medicine and dentistry is art combined with medicine . We study all the medical subjects including anatomy , physio , briochem , dental materials etc . We have postings and practice on patients that develop our skills for future practice . The exams are moderate , you can get good marks if you are consistent and listen properly in class .

Pros/Cons of choosing the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Bds as there ar no emergency patients as compared to MBBS. If you can establish your own clinic you can earn a handsome money. You can be your own boss. The student ratio is also very good in our college. The faculties are very much educated and supportive. Though the studies are little hard still you can pass exams easily if you study hard. The exams are on time and the teacher will guide you very well for exams.

Placement Experience:

I am a BDS student so for us right after finishing our BDS we are eligible to practice ourselves. Now it is on you whether to go for MDS or not, or whether to move abroad for your practice, we have our internships in the 5th year where we are taught how to deal with patients in real life so our journey starts right from our internships, a lot of fresh Doctors who have passed out from this college are doing great in life. I have a clear set of thoughts in chronological sequence as to this would be my way forward which includes doing MDS and going for opening my own clinic after which I shall move abroad for my practice.
