JNTUCEP college review

Since my childhood, I have so fascinated with cars and machines which made me choose Mechanical Engineering. Faculty in our college are highly qualified and skilled. They impart Practical along with theoretical knowledge. The faculty-student ratio is 1:4. All the faculty members are PhD holders and their method of teaching is appreciable. The sem exams are conducted nearly every 5 months and as we all know university exams are a bit tough but if u concentrate passing is not so difficult.

Every student should do an internship in the 3rd year of their course. Companies like Railway Loco Sheds, ISRO, KIA motors, and ISUZU offer internships and also stipends up to 16000. The internship lasts about 2 months.

Placements in our college are quite good. Mainly more companies offer jobs to CSE students. Wipro, TCS, tech Mahindra, LnT visit our college. Any branch student can apply for the recruitment. The average package may be approximately 3 to 4 lakh per annum. The curriculum is suitable for the preparation of Competitive exams and GATE. I plan to give GATE.

The tuition fee per annum is 10000rs. The hostel fees are up to 30000rs, so nearly 40000rs is the expenditure. We can clear the tuition fee in terms of a single term. State Government provides scholarships for weaker sections. They reimburse the total fee in 4 terms and also assist with the hostel fee. Other private organizations provide scholarships based on merit and reservation.

The campus is so peaceful and we can enjoy a lot here. Out department organizes a fest named YANTRA every Year in September. Our library is well equipped with nearly 8000 books and also has a digital library. Classrooms are well equipped with digital boards and projectors. Sports Day is conducted every Year in the month of march and there is a large scope for extracurricular activities.

I completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and opted for B.Tech.We have to take an entrance exam - ECET to enter into B.Tech.APSCHE will release the notification every year and the fee is nearly 900. I have taken my entrance exam and secured 41 rank. Then we apply for the counseling process where our certificates are verified and options have to be chosen for the course and colleges. The cut-off rank for my college was below 100(rank) therefore I secured a seat here. The same process is for the candidates who come through 12th but they have to give EAPCET. After the results, we have to report to the college and verify our certificates.
