Life at QISCET

My aim is to be a Civil Engineer, that's why I chose this course. The faculty are very friendly and have good communication skills. For every department, they have 20 to 25 faculty. For our department, we have 20 factually and we have 60 students per section. They conduct exams for 6 months, our college is autonomous, they choose difficult papers for students

They provided workshops to students for a month and we have a SKILL DEVELOPMENT COURSES. I did 3 SDC programs and 3 training programs in my 3 years of study. I done Rain water harvesting project in 7 semesters and now I'm doing water treatment through the Reed Bed System

From 7 semesters we all are eligible for placements. For the Civil Department, every year MEGA construction company was visiting. We have a cut-off of 60% to get placed. As civil engineers, the companies are less likely to recruit through colleges. We are searching for companies and our college is applying through offline mode.

The fee structure for my course is 36000, there will be 4000 building funds, a total 40000 per year. We get 36000 through the fee reimbursement program and the remaining 4000, we have to pay. Our college placement offers are better by year by year, they are bringing companies to offer placements for students

We have a good and healthy life on our campus. We have an NCC club, and most of the students are volunteers in this club, we go to nearby villages and conduct awareness programs. We had a tech fest for the Civil Department (CONFEST 2023) in August and a college fest in February. We have 2 libraries, both with journals and computers.

I'm a lateral entry student, so I wrote the ECET Entrance test, after qualifying for the ECET Entrance exam, Qualifying for the ECET exam is necessary for diploma students. Then through fee reimbursement students will get money. For the Civil Engineering Course, you have to pay 36000, total amount is obtained through the fee reimbursement program, if the student's parents are from the government sector the fee reimbursement is not applicable.
