I chose chemistry because I have completed my ug degree in chemistry and also I am interested in chemistry subject. I scored 82% in my ug degree so easily i got PG admission in the government arts college for women Salem-8.

internship opportunities are available in our college but pg students are eligible to internship. I was experienced at a steel plant in Salem. it was so useful and gained knowledge about how to make steel in Tamilnadu.

final semester students eligible for campus placements. each year contacted campus placements in our college. average package as per company and profiles offered. 75% of students getting placements in our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees for a PG degree are 1500 per year in our college. I was paid a total amount is 3000 because I studied for years. Scholarship is available to our students. sc and ST students have 5000 per year and obc canditades have 2000 per year.

Campus Life

Government Arts College for women Salem -8 is an A-grade college. all books are available in our library and each every department have own library and also we have general library. we have the best sports clubs in our college.

Admission

I will complete ug degree in 2021. It was eligible to apply for a pg degree. after 2 years I have completed my PG degree. I am interested in chemistry so I chose msc chemistry and completed my PG degree. It was an online application. application fees for MBC,obc catagires 150, and no application fees to sc and ST students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main aspect of mine to choose this course is , I am very interested in the zoology, so , I choose this course by myself. The curriculum prepares you for the both real world applications and for the further academic pursuits. They asked you to take seminars in the class. You can take seminar in you interested way by chalk and talk method or by PPT. The examination hours are 3 hours. It will help you to manage the time properly.

Placement Experience:

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. Placement Experience:

From the last previous semester, students can avail themselves of campus interviews. Students who have Harriers are not given opportunities because it's in the companies criteria. Cognizant, Zoho, Infosys, Wipro. Every year at least 10 students get selected. Average is 10,000-15,000 per month 10-15% of students getting placed. I plan to study for competitive exams like UPSC.
