Course Curriculum Overview
Exam conduction and curriculum of the college is up to mark. It includes all essential concepts. Faculty members are highly educated and well-classed, they have proper experience in the field, and it's worthy to take them as a mentor.
Internships Opportunities
My only industrial visit was to Verka where I learned how milk is made and packed which is totally out of my field. CU has mandatory internships for all undergraduates but IT DOESN'T PROVIDE INTETNSHIP. However, reference letter will be made available only if you ask.
Placement Experience
When we talk about biotechnology, CU launched this subject in the year 2020 and within 3 years it has already attracted many good companies with healthy packages. Students became eligible for placements from their 5th sem which is from the final year. Minimum packages start from 13-15k per month and with a bachelor's degree maximum can go up to 40-50k per month.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
When I took admission in this course, the fee was 40k per semester which now has become 50k per semester and hence raising the expenses to 1lakh INR from 80k. However, scholarships are provided on the basis of your 12th percentile and cucet score. Besides financial help portal is especially designed (no one replies). The college also helps you to apply for education loans.
Campus Life
Chandigarh University is well known for its organized concerts and fests. Such functions take place every now and then throughout the year with a minimum of three grand concerts per session. Students get a chance to meet many well-known and popular faces. Campus life is all over awesome.
Admission
If you have a minimum of 50 percent or above in your 12th standard with biology as your major you're eligible for the course. Just visit cucet.com and apply for cucet exam from the same dashboard admission form will appear. You'll get a scholarship according to cucet score or your board percentage.
