Course Curriculum Overview

The purpose behind choosing this course was to explore different ways and also because of my keen interest in computers. The faculty: student ratio is also well maintained which is as of now 30 students per faculty. Teaching methods are also modern. Term exams are held also on time.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 2800 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my college are fixed as it is a government-maintained college There is no price hike in our college. There are several scholarship programs run by the government of both Central and state. The campus drive is also amazing in our college many companies arrive at the campus drive.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. There are several cultural programs held at our college premises. Among them, some are annual fest called smaagam. There's a big Library available at our college campus with several books and journals. The classrooms are spacious and fully air-conditioned with a smart board and projector.

Admission

The admission process is very good. Anyone who completed 10th/12th/ITI can appear in the entrance exam. The exam is conducted by JCECEB Ranchi. The application fee for General/OBC is 650 and for SC/ST/Female is 352. The reservation of seats is different in each college.

Inside my college -gp latehar

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

Placements: The placements in our college are very good. The highest salary package was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package was 2 LPA. There are also scholarships provided by our college. PFW Kotak is also provided to us. Currently, I am studying at KK Polytechnic and our branch is mechanical.

Students are eligible to apply for placements after 5th semester and many companies visit our college every year providing job opportunities. Name of the some of the companies visited this year are JSW STEEL, TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, Larsen and Toubro , etc. They provided on average of 15-20 offers for students . Average package was 5lpa and highest being 10lpa for student who got placed in TATA STEEL. They are offered jobs as site Junior Engineer. About 50% students got placed. I am planning to continue my studies further and completing B.Tech

It was a fine and smooth process of admission to my college (Government Polytechnic Khutri) and I didn't face any problems during my visit to the college for the first time for admission. I did appear in an exam for entrance to the college. When I appear in the college first I have to fill out a form and then submit the required fees to the bank and submit the bank's chalan in the college.
