Microbiology has a wide scope in many fields and also we invent something new like the coronavirus vaccine. In our class room 25 female and 5 male students and have 7facalty in different field. Their teaching method is Exordinery because all of them well experience.

Internships Opportunities

The company comes to hire employees. Because all the students want to their higher education and complete p.hd. We go for internships like the biofertilizer unit and the Aavin dairy industry. Too many work shops are conducted. It's mainly used for the development of our knowledge

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study is yearly fees of 13700 rupee and other 3000 like semester exam fees and lab fees dress all the above around 30k for 2 years of course completion. And also Scholarships provided for all categories of students. around 7k per year we get scholarships.

Campus Life

Every year we celebrate our annual day and also we celebrate department functions like Science Day and culture day. And also celebrating Pongal dewali all festival. The library is one of the biggest buildings on our campus. It has an enormous amount of books.to improve your knowledge. In the classroom room air ventilation is available as well as individual chairs for sitting and writing. NSS volunteers groups are there we can join and attend many campaign

Admission

Eligibility you have to score a minimum of 60% of the marks obtained in your B.sc course. Every year March Periyar University releases its online application for the entrance exam. I got through offline mode 500rs for application fees. After that, they conduct an entrance exam of 100 questions with an objective type. This is Periyar University which mostly prefers women's education. So male people scored high for seats.

The choosed this course as I have complete background of bachelor degree in Nutrition and was interested in doing community nutrition service where master degree would enrich me with the background knowledge to empower peoples with Nutrition knowledge.The faculty staffs have done their doctrate in food science and nutrition and are enriched with best modern teaching methods which guided and motivate to learn a lot about the field .The term exams where conducted as 2 internal exams each semester and 1 external exam .The course is for 2years so there are 4 external exams and 8 internal exams .The different lab enriched with current updated equipment help to learn more practically ,the lab setup included foods lab ,food testing lab , nutrition lab and physiology lab .The exams are easy to pass if you are 70 percent consistent on practical and theory papers .

My Honest Opinion

Placement Experience:

Last semester students can participate in the Campus placement.And also 2nd year students can also participate. Many companies will come for the placement camp.Like Infosys, Wipro and many other IT companies and also Fianance companies are offered for BBA students. Highest Salary Package is about 4LPA and average is about 1.2LPA. Minimum 60% of students gets placement. My plans to get a job in an IT company within this year.

Very much satisfied with the infrastructure, and we enjoy all things in our college life. Placements: Our course is information technology. Our class has 45 students. HCL, Omega, etc., come here. Overall, 35 students got internships in our course on QSpiders. They are offered a job as well. Infrastructure: Our department is located in a good place in our college. We like our department staff very much. They are very kind and good. Our favorite place is our lab. They have a good atmosphere. The classrooms are very neat. I didn't applied to any colleges because i have the confidence that i will get admission in this college. When we are coming to admission process ---First we have to do application in online which can be around 500 fees with scanned original documents (Aadhar card,Community certificate, 10th and 12 th marksheets) --- After applying with proper documents and paid invoice you have to take a print out of your submitted application and to submit in college. --- They will consider your mark and they will call you based on sports,merit, cast and other quotas which can be apply (This step is common for ug and pg) --- In pg after submitting application they will count the applicatione count if it reaches more than permitted level of seats available in college then they will conduct an entrance exam and call you as per your entrance cut off and previous course cutoff. --- after this both ug and pg is called for admission through call or email or both and you have to take your passport photo as per the department asks and other important documents xerox(Aadhar card xerox) and original documents should be submitted such as community certificate, 10th and 12 th marksheet after they referring it you have to pay fees in challan method...Read More
