Remarks

The best thing I appreciate in this college is placements. The management is good. Apart from academics they should allow the students to be part of extra curricular activities. Accommodation and food can be improved.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET to get into this college. I got 8,718 rank in it under general category. I applied for CSE and IT branches as I am very passionated towards technology and luckily I got IT branch in it.The reason for me to opt this college is it is very famous for its placements, its discipline and its faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The overall course curriculum is good. By the end of their course every student will get knowledge in subjects related to every department. Year by year the regulation changes and the electives change. The course structure of each departments includes subjects of its relevant departments in each semester.

Internships Opportunities

It doesn't provide any internship. For some branches it is optional to do internship and mini project is mandatory for them. For some other branches like mechanical, civil internship is mandatory and the students have to search for internships on their own.

Placement Experience

5

Placements is the best thing one can find here. The college provides job opportunities to almost all the students who are eligible for placements. for 2014-2018 batch the placements are still going on. for 2013-2017 batch details of the students placed are TCS - 360, WIPRO - 43, Apps Associates - 7, VEDA IIT - 17, Ux Reactor - 7, ComTec IT Solutions - 4, Verizon - 3 => Total Students Placed = 441

College Events

3.5

Every year each department celebrates their technical fest and there will be the cultural fest for the whole college. Every traditional festival is equally celebrated in the college and lots of events will be conducted. Apart from these, there will be many events conducted by various clubs and organizations in college like Rotaract, ken foundation, Helping hands etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For B.Tech. (Convener Category)- 1,08,550/- For M.Tech. (Convener Category)- 71,650/- For M.C.A. (Convener Category)- 43,250/- All these are per year For B.Tech. it is little expensive but is worthy For remaining other courses the fee structure is good The fee mentioned here is inclusive of building fund

Fees and Financial Aid

For students through EAMCET there will be reservation quota in seat allocation and the students belonging to SC and ST the entire fee is reimbursed as per e-pass provided by gov. of A.P. For students who get their EAMCET rank below 10,000 and belonging to EBC,OBC categories get the full fee reimbursement. students with EAMCET rank above 10,000 and belonging to OBC and EBC will get fee reimbursement of 35,000.

Campus Life

4

In this college there is no bias for any gender,religion,caste,ethnicity.race. Here everyone is treated equal and lo of importance is given to talent and skills. There will be workshops organised by each department frequently to bring some interaction among the people and spread the knowledge. Each department celebrates their farewell and freshers' party every year. There are no politics running in the college. Most of the laboratories are well equipped. They give more importance to academics than sports and extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

For girls there will be sufficient number of vacancies in the hostel but for boys the seats are limited. It costs 60000 per year in hostel. As is a Brahmins' college they don't provide any kind of non-veg food and the entire college and hostel food is purely veg. The quality of food is satisfactory(3/5). They cook the food as per the schedule designed.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are really helpful and there are many groups in different social networking sites for interacting with alumni and senior students.

Exam Structure

For each subject out of 100 marks, 30 marks is for internals and 70 marks is for external semester examination. the 30 marks in internals is comprised of mid marks(20), quiz(5), assignment(5). There will be two mid examinations for every semester and will be considered in the ratio of 2:1. Coming to labs out of 100 marks 50 marks are for internals and 50 are for end semester lab examination.

Admission

I wrote EAMCET in the month of May. Results were declared in the month of June. Notification was released in the month of July to apply for colleges . I have opted for many colleges along with GVP. Luckily I was allocated seat in this college in the month of August. I was asked to report in the college in August. They have taken copies of our certificates and intimated us the date of commencement of classes. The classes were started on september 15, 2014.

Faculty

4.5

Here every faculty member is at least post graduated. Some faculty completed their Ph.D also. Every faculty member shows keen interest in teaching the students. Every faculty member is qualified from a wel reputed institution and is tested well before recruiting.
