I like the teaching method of the faculties and the campus life as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course simply to get a job in the IT sector and start earning money to secure my future. The faculties of the college are not that qualified but are good at teaching the students carefully and giving them the knowledge that they require for their exams. The teacher is very helpful and will help you every time

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Placement Experience

According to me, the students start to sit in the placements from the 6th semester and some students and some student start their internships from the start of their second year by taking noc from the college. The highest package is around 7 to 8 lac per annum and the lowest package is around 3 or 3.5 lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was admitted to vgi because I got the information that this college is good around here and it turned out that this college is good as compared to other colleges available here. The college has not increased my fees even once and it's the same throughout the course. Therefore the cost of study is the same every year. I don't know much about the scholarship process.

Campus Life

The college has only one main event that is organised to give the orientation to the new students that join the college and the Spandan is celebrated in September. The whole college campus has wifi and the library also has the books that are required by the students for academic purposes.

Admission

The eligibility for the CSE course from this college is everywhere. The application form to take admission here is available only from July to August and after that, all the seats get filled in the college therefore be sure to take the admission in this interval otherwise you will be left behind. You can get help from someone for your admission as well

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
