Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to study mechanical engineering because I am interested in the automobile sector. The college offers the best teaching and non-teaching faculties. They carry out the term exam once in 3 months to evaluate our study progress. They are very strict about internal marks so we have to make sure that our behavior Satisfies them.
Placement Experience
Campus interview takes place at the end of the 7th semester. Students who have cleared all the papers before the 7th sem are eligible for campus interview. Companies like Amazon, wipro, and hcl, will be there for placements. We have to apply to the placement cell before the interview. The companies will offer a salary range between 15000 and 20000. 40% of the students will get placed each year. I have planned to do Nebosh IGC and wanted to work in the safety sector.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Cost to study in this college is comparatively high as compared to other universities because it's a deemed university and if the student fails to maintain an average attendance ratio must pay a huge amount as a penalty. There are scholarships based on family income.
Campus Life
Life at Noorul Islam University is simply amazing. Each department has its annual fest which takes place in the month of October or November. They have a very huge library and have a collection of all the major books. They offer very advanced laboratories as compared to other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The classrooms are good. They have a supply of hot and cold water. Inside the campus, they have 3 canteens and they have 2 canteens inside the hostel. The hostel mess provides food for hostel students but the food is average. The hostel is well maintained. The locality is good actually but the hostel is much safer and more peaceful. They provide a gym also.
Admission
Students must acquire 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and maths and also there is an entrance exam. All the students can directly approach the college for admission and fill out the application form. He/she will get the confirmation within two hours.
