Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for ECE since I have an interest in communication and signals. There are approximately around 350 students in the ECE department including all 4 years and the total staff is around 30. All the faculty are highly qualified

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for students admitted through counselling is 55000 per year. For students admitted through the minority quota and management quota the fee is 87000 per year. There are scholarships present for financially backwards or weak students

Campus Life

The college conducts various programs throughout the year. The annual fest is conducted on April which includes culturals and annual day. The annual sports meet is conducted on March month. There are various clubs in campus like social clubs where around 10 students go to orphanages each week Friday and teach the children present there.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 12th pass with 50 percentage aggregate in physics, chemistry and maths. The application form can be found in the KLNCE office in Periyar and in the college campus. In 2023 during the first round cutoff for ECE was 165. During the second round of counselling cutoff dropped to 156, during 3rd round the remaining seats were filled.

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.
