Remarks

College is bad in terms of sports activity and extracurricular , good thing is friends and social atmosphere with them , i really miss it.

Entrance Preview

I took direct admission in this college,as it is very famous college of this area, no interview followed for my admission, i choose it so as to become a researcher at computers.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is really very good but not the college , there is very less focus at practical learning, no research initiative is taken by the college.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide us internship but provide us holidays to peruse it from somewhere else , like in private company etc and can earn a higher experience and practical learning, at stipend amount of around 5000.

Placement Experience

Placement is average and is about 60% only in companies like , infosys,smart chip,igate etc with an average package of around 3lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is affordable and is about 6000only, that is too less fee ,and anyone can afford this fee , scholarship is even greater than this amount.

Faculty

Faculty is experienced and qualified,but they are less interactive in class session , but are very interactive at outside , and helps us in all matters, standard of teaching is average here.

New Direction for Advanced Degree

Placement Experience:

From the Final year/5th semester onwards, the college starts placements and the companies begin to visit. The college offers placement training from the 3rd semester onwards. Mostly Service-based companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, HCL Technologies, Hexaware, Vinsinfo are visited. BPO sectors and banking companies also reached the college and made more than 100-200 offers with us. 3.5 - 4.7 LPA is the highest package and 1.9-2.3 LPA is the lowest package profile offered. 100% placement as 385 out of 400 students are placed. The college also offers higher degrees after the course completion.

Life at SREC

Remarks:

It is ranked no4 in coimbatore. My college comes under SNR trust which is been in this field for a long time now. They have scholarship programs for the students. The fees is minimal comparative to other colleges. They have well equipped Labs. They also give importance to extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because here I can obtain more practical knowledge about physical design and logical design of system to become a skilled computer professional. Frequent lab sessions department staff and highly technical lab assistants will exist to guide us all the time. Faculty numbers are huge faculty student ratio is 1:25 faculty have excellent subject knowledge that will guide us to excel in any computer domains we are interested in by conducting various seminars. Internal examination and models examination for both theory and practical papers will be held. Elective papers are available for every semester where students can choose their subjects according to their interests. Based on our performance in internal, model, regularity in an academic class, completing assignments internal Mark's will be provided by the staff for 25 in semester exams. These exams will assess our deep knowledge in coding that will help us throughout this career.

Admission:

Thru direct application process. Filled up and waited for the principal interview. Course selection is the big process and that too language selection is another big headache. But it is a very good experience to go through. It needs for all students. Very nice.
