Likes

The faculties and the availability of infrastructure.
The next thing is that the availability of sports and cultural events which was more beautiful and pleasant to participate there.
Finally the availability of transports to almost all the areas in the locality and the fees was also very affordable.

Dislikes

The first thing is the cleanliness which is not properly Maintained in a frequent interval
The next thing is they should have the research and development for all the departments but only few of them were available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in machinery and automobiles and that is the major reason to select this course. There were sufficient faculties and students to run this department in an efficient way, the faculty-student ratio was good enough to have a healthy conversation for the development. All the faculties were well qualified and most of the teaching method was practical only a few of them were following the traditional method of teaching. The term exams were in a periodic manner and followed quarterly.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were reasonable at that time and I didn't feel it was too high from my perspective. I didn't avail of any kind of scholarship from the college but there were some schemes regarding the scholarships but I were not aware of that.

Campus Life

The annual fest was the college day celebration and the cultural functions including the traditional Pongal Diwali and some more festivals. There is a huge library on the campus which is very large and you can find so many books over there Also they had so many journals magazines and case studies for the help of the projects. They give more importance to sports as they participated in almost all the inter-college as well as intra-college sports events. There were many social groups such as the Lions Group, Red Ribbon Club which were mostly run by the students.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is to pass the 12th board exam with 1st class and up to 170 cutoff is more than enough for this course. The application form can be downloaded through the college website or else you can visit the college directly and collect the application form. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits. Faculties should guide the newcomers in filling the application form in case of any difficulties.

Placement Experience:

For placements inside campus we become eligible from 7th semester onwards. there is a minimum cgpa criteria which we are informed. Companies which reputation come for placement drives : Some of them are : Google Microsoft Amazon TCS INFOSYS wipro HCL Larsen and Toubro Samsung and many more. The highest salary package from what i know was 23 lakhs per annum and on an average a package of 3.5-5 LPA is offered to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more based on what is the requirement cuurently in the industry and changes are made every year to maintain its standard and quality.Areas of improvement needed in teaching methods is that instead of just reading the ppts, it will be nice if teacher uses some practical way to explain the concept or adds more examples to the slides. Affordable College ESEC

1)I actually didn't apply for any other College other than this college as at the time of admission, i didn't posses my Transfer Certificate which was much required for applying to counselling. I joined the college using management seats. They asked me to fill a registration form charging 500. Then i had to pay 5000 as admission fee which was used as the fee for placement for that year. The eligibility for joining is to have completed class 12 with a decent cutoff and none other. I was asked to pay 35000 per year as mess fee and was not charged any money as i came under PMSS scholarships. All other fees mentioned were to be paid by me....Read More
