CTAE in a nutshell.

I chose ECE because I had an interest in the subject. The college offers various Btech courses in CSE, AI, ECE, EE, CE, Mining, Mech, and Agriculture. The faculty-student ratio is decent and the faculty is quite qualified. The term exams are pretty decent to pass if you have enough preparation.

There are on-campus placements with an average package between 5-6 lac. Off-campus placements are far better. The mining department has the highest package of 16lac. Various companies like SecureMeter, and Vedanta group, among others, offer placements.

The fee structure is such that the annual fees will be 75k, which will be split into two semesters. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for the reserved category. Besides, the agricultural department offers really amazing internship opportunities where they provide funds upto 1.4lac.

The college has many cultural clubs including music, dance, literary, entrepreneurship, etc. The tech fest was held this year after 2 years since COVID has hampered the normal functioning of almost all institutes. The classrooms are well equipped, and so are the libraries with a wide range of collections of books. Sports is also an active department of the college.

The hostels are however not very upto the mark, but the bare minimum expected from a government college. The mess food is average. They follow a fixed menu. Hostels are however affordable, and you can avail of hostels by filling up a form during the admission process.

Admission to this college is through the score of JEE mains. As it is a state university, you will have to fill REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) form. After which, state rank will be given to you based on your JEE mains score, and admission will be on this basis. The application form will be available on the REAP website.
