Likes

The infrastructure is very good of the university. There is lot of greenery.
The surrounding of the university is good and peaceful as it is situated far from the city.
The faculty is good and helpful. They are well qualified.

Dislikes

The university is quite way too far from the university. And there is very few mode of transport.
Reaching University is very hectic things . You will get exhausted in the Summer.
The students are not soo friendly. There are various groups and they like to be in that .

I took this course because I was interested and there is a very high scope as well. The faculty is very good in my department. There are various faculty members from different languages in our department. Many of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and we'll qualified. The teaching methods are also soo good for understanding.

Class Size: 10Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for every course gets raised every year by a few thousand rupees. The fee is quite more than other universities. The scholarship is given on the basis of merit. The marks scored in class 12th decide what percentage of scholarship you will get.

Campus Life

There is a fest organised by the university which is called Amifest which is conducted in the month of April or May. The central library of the university provides a vast variety of books. The classrooms of the university are fully air-conditioned. Various extra curriculum activities take place in the university in which any student can take part.

Admission

The application form for admission is available on the college website and the eligibility as well. The university provides various scholarships depending on merit-based. Few courses have entrance tests while on the other hand, few courses take direct admission depending on the Marks scored in 12th.

Placement Experience:

Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Good experience but can be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.

About Amity

I took admission in galgotia university but my admission cancelled because of my percentage but I am grateful that Amity University haryana . In this college only above 60% marks are required. 60% in physics, chemistry, maths and English overall 60% . There is a admission test for admission but if have given jee mains exam then don't have to give admission test. Admission process is easy and comfortable.
