Course Curriculum Overview

Reason for choosing: Interest in the domain. Wide range of applications and job opportunities. Faculty to Student ratio is very good, it is 1:15. Teaching incorporates online and physical methods with well-qualified staff. Unit tests monthly and 2 semesters per year. Usually easy to pass with proper study.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements start from Semester 6. Many top companies like Sify, TCS, CTS, Psiog, Zoho, and Vuram all visited for recruitment. Highest package of 16 lpa. Average of 4 lpa. Almost 90% of students get placed. I joined my job after my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 1.5-2 lpa depending on the quota of admission including transport fees. Hostel fees are around 1 lpa. Scholarships are available based on marks scored in semester exams. First-graduate concessions can also be availed. I got placed in Sify Technologies Ltd with a ctc of 6.5lpa.

Campus Life

Large library. Annual cultural in the month of March. Each department hosts tech fests throughout the year. Well-lit and furnished classrooms. Sports are also encouraged. IEEE, UBA, NSS, NCC, and numerous other club and societal activities are very active and encouraged.

Admission

Application: TNEA Counselling after class 12 state board exams. Eligibility: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Cut off: 160-165 range. The admission process was smooth. Improvements can be done with regard to displaying seat availability promptly.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

About the Sairam

The number of colleges i applied are not that many but i still applied for few ones .like i applied for REC,SSN,VIT,CEG.the reason i chose this one affordability amongst all. No i didn't get an rejection from other college .i didnt join them with my own decision. I applied through tnea counselling. I had a cutoff of 189.5/200 and I applied for top colleges like CEG,MIT,SSN. I know I won't get seat in those colleges as my cutoff is not upto that level. Then I preferred for REC, CIT AND then SEC. My primary need is cse course. Even though I got seat in REC in ECE department.
