Remarks
The college is really nice if opting for architecture. But the course is really difficult. So if you are opting for it, make sure you make up your mind before entering in it that you'll need to work a lot in 5 years. It literally takes your sleep. The campus is otherwise good and lively. It's a small campus so you explore all the places in it
Entrance Preview
For any architecture college you need to score above 80 in NATA i.e. national aptitude test for architecture. After that NATA score there are college cut off lists. I scored 101 and got AAYOJAN SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, JAIPUR. there's no interview in this college. They consider the average of your NATA, 10th and 12th marks. I always wanted to do some creative course with a touch of technicality so that made me chose architecture.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a 5 year course i.e 10 semesters in which 1 semester is for practical training. Other semesters you study architectural design , arts and graphics, building construction, various workshops. For elective we have Rajasthani art, disaster management, real estate etc. You get to learn everything in these long 5 years. You get to take your practical training as well.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also on you. You make your portfolios and get selected on your own. The stipend amount depends on office to office. They may range from 2000- 10000 per month. The internship experience is really nice. You get to learn alot of things which you probably didn't notice in college.
Placement Experience
There is no placement scenario in this college You make your own portfolios, you send them to various offices , and it's all on you. The college as such have no role in official placements.
College Events
There's a cultural week every year in the college on which all the cultural events takes place. Then there are inter college fests names NASA . Interested students can participate if they want. The cultural fest is organised on the campus only in which students teachers both take part. The money collection for the cultural week is exclusive of the fee.
Fee Structure And Facilities
This is a very affordable college if we compare it to other architecture colleges. The fee structure is 35000-45000 per semester for college. Exam fees is exclusive of the fee structure. This 35000-45000 is academic fee. This college organises a trip in 3rd year which is compulsory for all and that is exclusive of the fee. They provide facilities like library, computer lab, structure lab, studios, lecture halls, various sports areas etc. Also it organises a cultural week once a year who's money collection is also exclusive of the fees. Also this course is expensive, you need to buy alot of stuff for your academics . different stationery items are required everyday . Some are really expensive. Also the prints take alot of money.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't think the college provided any kind of scholarship programme. I did not avail any scholarship in my tenure. Also talking about the loan I have no idea if they do so.
Campus Life
Talking about extracurricular then being honest you don't get time to indulge yourself in some other activities. The college and work keeps you so busy in it . If you manage to take out time for yourself then college provided various sports area .
Hostel Facilities
Yes I resided in hostel for 3 years The hostels are average and they have 4 sharing rooms for 1st year and then they allot students into twin sharing. The fee for hostel before 2 years was 35000 per semester including room and meals. They provide breakfast , lunch , tea and snacks and dinner. The food is good. The menu is fixed for every week and also they provide some special food item on Sundays.
Alumni/Alumna
Almost 17 batches have already passed from this college And everybody knows almost everyone. They have alumni meets every in 2-4 years. Most of the faculty is alumni of this college only.. they do have a common website for alumni and student interaction in which people keep uploading their work for everybody to learn something new.
Exam Structure
Exams happen once in every semester but the course here doesn't keep you free often You have juries ( presentations) almost every week which keeps you busy everytime. The course is definitely alot tiring.
Faculty
The faculty here is really good, well experienced and interactive Most of the faculties are alumni of this college so they know exactly how the structure goes.
